This is a post dedicated to my dear dear Coral.
And it is because I was going to respond to her comment on tmy previous post, but there was just too much i wanted to say to her, and about her, so I thought - why don't i just to a whole post to her?
Coral,
Ever since the day i first met you, and we were proclaimed long lost twins, i loved you. I loved your courage to wear hats, even at the expense of jokes. And I loved your love for books and drawing - even though you never wanted me to see your drawings. (gosh! i miss those doodling days)
I loved singing with you, and laughing with you - we always had our own little brand of humour.
Writting plays together - with Carmen Medina, and Carmen Bell, and Cindy and MIndy ( and sterling - our muse ) Making coffee, and jokes. Getting a little out of hand (cold meatloaf)
Talking about Shakespeare.
Doing makeovers, and dressing up, just for the fun of it. Oh Coral! the creative energy we experianced in that time was pretty unbelievable if you ask me.
Making collages with piles and piles of pictures all around.
Looking at pictures for hours and hours and noticing little things each time.
And then ... the power smoothie days - oh my!
Brittany, Missel, Chris, and of course Chuck, Mary-Lou - DEBBI. who was that other kid? oh man i forget his name...tall, high most of the time...slightly sexually assaulting...I want to say Sean, but I know that's not right.
All of our regulars, Billy! the guy who looked like Josh Hartnet, Rhonda, LESLIE!!!! and doing the chineese fire drill around her car on your last day...oh man! good times. Coral, i think you were probably the only one who kept me sane durring that time.
Talking in different accents, and then realizing that it might be offensive to try and talk in a Jamaican accent to REAL jamaican's. Having Mary-Lou come out while we were talking in different accents. Offering to sing for tips - and Chuck making us stop (be he kept the sign in their office)
oh man. I love you. and i'm praying for you. never fear - God will be with you no matter what the trial or circumstance.
