hahahaha really you have been waiting for this?

It is important to incorporate as much air as you can when making the cream portion...so if you can't get a mixer....you are going to have very strong arm muscle from all the hand whipping you are gonna do

I loooove the tiramisu at Prego's!

Funny joke..once I was there just for desserts and order their tiramisu. And..i was commenting to the waiter how nice their table setting was. Apparently, their tables are padded for the cushion-feel. The tiramisu was served. I was so happy I let out a WAAHHHHH and all the cocoa dusting flew and spread out..turning the pristine white table cloth brown. Malu sia...

Arm muscle..?? But doubt the consistency in the strength will be good..hmm...

hahahahahaha i am sure that happens quite often at the restaurant :)

As for the consistency...shouldn't be a problem

I used Bailey's before too cos didn't have Kahlua at home then.

Less strong in terms of alcohol but still flavourful.

it would be creamier and less of the coffee taste i would think

Love tiramisu but since I'm feeding my bambino I won't be able to put in the alcohol bit or I'd have a drunk little one (who'd sleep very well...tempting)
One big mistake I constantly make when gorging on this is to breathe in when I have a heaping forkful in front of my mouth... I'll cough till I turn blue!

Hmmmm….you know I have been thinking of whipping up a green tea tiramisu….just for something different. Maybe that would be more your thing. I have sorted out the flavouring of the cream portion…I am still trying to think what I should soak the sponge fingers in.

Not too sure if your little one will appreciate the coffee in this version…give me time…if you can think of something to soak the sponge fingers in…I am open to suggestions.

I've been trying about whipping up a green tea tiramisu as well, and I would think that we should ditch the sponge fingers and use fluffy green tea cake in milk or plain sponge cake with azuki bean paste.

green tea cake won't give it the colour contrast...visually it wont be striking.

Plain sponge cake is an idea....not sure abt the bean paste...might be too heavy.

(just brainstorming with ya)
