so yesterday was basically an all day date with nick. it was his day off so we took full advantage of it. as soon as we both woke up we went to rahway park and ran. we're both kinda on a diet. he wants to lose 10-15lbs and i wanna lose 5 and tone up a bit.
after that we went home and showered and he ate and then went to Avon beach. we didn't have to pay because for some reason there still aren't any lifeguards...(?) it was awesome. the best weather for the beach imo. the water was cold when u first dip ur feet but once u get in it was great! i found out that nick is the annoying kid who throws sand. and apparently im the annoying kid who gets mad at the annoying kid throwing sand. sand in ur bottoms is not fun! we walked down the beach and back and then we walked down the "boardwalk" and back and realized we're both starving and we need to go home to make something healthy for us to eat. so we left.
after we both took another shower, i went to visit my grandma since it was her birthday. when we got there she was passed out sleeping, though. so we let her be. we went to my house instead and watched a few videos online and then had dinner. after dinner we went back to my grandma's and my dad was there. she was awake this time but it was a huge eye opener...this was the first day i felt like there wasn't anymore hope. she was too busy thinking about other things (i'm sure her condition), she was tired and weak and sad. i pray that it was just a bad day and that she can get better, but that's a lot of hope for a 92 yr old woman with kidney stones in her gall bladder and cancer in various areas :( nick tried cheering me up when we left.
so we continued on with our day. we went to menlo and saw shrek the third. it was soooo funny. and i don't know wut people were talking about when they said there weren't enough jokes that little kids would overlook but adults would get cause there were a ton! after the movie i went back to nick's and stayed there till 12:30. i came home and passed out haha.
it was an awesome day and i hope i have a lot more just like this one.
