Cherry's getting married! And she's having a baby, so I'm going to be an aunt! The baby's due in February. I can't believe it... last year Cherry was going to frat parties with me and frat guys were all trying to get with her (if they only knew she was 34!), and now she's going to be a mom! It's crazy, but I'm really excited for her, and so excited about the baby!

I went to church this morning with my family, then to work at Christmas Mouse, but I was only there for like 2 hours and then I told my manager I wasn't feeling too well and went home. I guess it's an ok job, it just gets seriously boring sometimes and I seriously don't know how much longer I can stand the same CD of only 12 songs on repeat for 9 hours straight everyday.

So I went home and baked chocolate chip cookies this afternoon, always lots of fun. I went shopping in Newport News with Daddy and Nick, and out to dinner. Nothing too exciting, but it was better than if I'd worked all day.

I've seen a lot of people lately, including Laura's mom, who came outside after I accidentally drove into her mailbox going like 35mph. Oops. Def left a nice mark on my car too. Sarah came back to Williamsburg this weekend and we hung out on Friday night. I'm looking forward to next summer because I think we're all going to get an apartment in either Virginia Beach or DC for the summer, and it will be nice for the sova3 to be all together for the whole summer, since we haven't been since high school.

Basically I'm just working and doing nothing interesting till August. Jen's coming to the Greenbrier with my family this year, so that should be a lot of fun. Cherry's not coming this year, since that's when she and Mark planned their wedding in Hawaii. My parents are def still not used to the idea of the whole wedding thing, and they're not going. I'm sad Cherry's not going this year, but Jen and I will have fun, and at least get nice and tan before we go back to school.

I'm so excited to get back to Cornell. I miss Becky and Dusty and all my Alpha Phis and everyone so much, and I'm so excited about having an apartment this year with Brittni, Becky, and Diane! This is going to be like my first year living actually on my own, since the sorority house last year doesn't really count. I loved living in Alpha Phi last year, and it was an experience I wouldn't trade for anything, but at the same time I'm really glad that's over. I'm so happy to have my own room finally, for the first time at school, and I'm relieved to not have to live with 40 girls. Even though I'll miss getting ready for formals and things where I could just go from room to room and be sure to come up with like the pair of shoes that is just the perfect shade to match whatever I wanted to wear. But that is just way too crazy a living situation to actually be able to focus on school and stuff, and I fully plan on being a nerd this year (with a lot of fun mixed in, of course)! But at the same time, I'm really sad to leave Williamsburg because I love it so much here. Actually having sunshine is always nice, and people at Cornell could def never replace all my friends here!

I actually got a tan line from my belly button ring, which is annoying. But Jen and I got new belly button rings that are supercute. I'm off to bed so I can get up early so we can go lay out at the sports club and get all the good sun!

xoxo!
