So far my goal for September and October-to research and make plans for further employment-has not been going well. Three weeks ago I broke the goal down to working for half an hour after work, twice a week, which seemed a modest enough commitment for starters, but so far I have only made the appointment three times.
Either I've been sick or too busy. There are all kinds of excuses for avoiding it. Can you tell I'm not thrilled about this goal?
What have I got to lose by concentrating on something this important for 30 minutes?
Next week I'll try for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after work.
Somebody light a fire under me.
