WIP: Welcoming dress!
Hi everyone, Caro here! Just hi-jacking Vanessa's account for a bit. She's having dinner after spending hours working on this dress:
I think Vanessa got the idea of a "welcoming dress" from Volks' "Omukae" ceremony, where they have special clothes for when you welcome your doll home. I didn't get one because I already had a dress when I was adopted, but hey, I'm going to ask for more dresses too. XD
So, why is she working on a welcoming dress? Well, Vanessa recently found her grail doll on the DoA Marketplace, her very first dream doll. She's a Volks MSD Hisui, who's a standard girl like me, but I heard she was phased out a couple of years ago. I'm slightly upset that I was never really on Vanessa's "dream doll" list, but I know she loves me.
I'd love to have some company around here, and a little sister would be awesome, I think. I always feel bad whenever my friends have to go back home. :(
Lumie's modeling the dress for now. It's still a work in progress, so there are still some things that'll get added to that later on. And don't believe Vanessa when she says that I didn't help at all! She was originally going to use this pink and green and white candy-striped fabric until I pointed out that it would look funny with Hisui's orange hair. And that she'd look like a Dunkin Donuts mascot or something.
But yeah, as far as I know, I only have one little sister on the way. Vanessa seems really flustered, though; she keeps wanting to work on more welcoming dresses. I hope she manages to squeeze in a dress or two for me, too. :P Lemme go see if I can pester her to make me a new dress to match the new shoes I'll be getting soon!
