This has been a weird week at work, people have been doing and saying some of the dumbest shit. So, I'll start a small guide of things you should or shouldn't say/do at work.
Don't: If your a woman, don't wear a sleeveless shirt if you haven't shaved your pits in a while. I saw this earlier this week and the woman looked like she had Buckwheat in a headlock with both arms.
Don't: If you're a guy, and having a conversation with me, don't ask me so, when are we going out for a few beers so I can get you drunk and take advantage of you? Not the best way to endear yourself to me.
Don't: Just because I am the IT guy, don't bring me in your PC from home to work on. And while we're on that kick, don't ask me for a copy of windows xp for your personal use at home. I have enough to do without having to make sure that your kids can surf porn while chatting online with their gangsta-wanna-be friends.
And finally, for now:
Don't: If you've had a business trip scheduled for weeks that you are leaving for on Monday, don't bring me your laptop right before lunch on Friday asking me to make sure it's set up for you to log in to the network from the road. There's a good chance I'll load nude photos of women attached to love letters on it for your wife to find.
Hmm, look at that. All of them are don'ts. It's been that kind of week.
