Holy shitballs man!
Okay, so tonight on the server . . we had a MAJOR hacking issue.
And I mean MAJOR.
"The creator of several of the server plugins (mcadmin, worldguard, etc) decided to play on your server. He griefed in front of me several times, so I banned him. I did not know that he was the creator, and honestly, griefing 5 times in one night makes that not matter. When I banned his username (brendal100) he came back on with another username (I don't remember, but the server logs should have this, happened around 12:45AM MST (2, or 3:45 your time) and sad that he was doing the damage. He reset the map borders to about 10 blocks away from the minishop in Spawn Town, causing everyone online to be warped there with the error: YOU HAVE REACHED THE MAP BORDER and causing everyone to lose their entire inventory. His proxy account told me to unban the original account, or he wouldn't fix the problem, so I did, and he fixed the problem with the map border, but continued to grief and hack into admin commands and harassed EVERYONE online. I no longer have access to /jail, /kick, /ban, /ipban, /mute, and who knows what else, so the only thing I could do to stop what was happening, was to stop the server, which I did. The server went down at approximately 1:00 AM MST. Just prior to stopping the server, several people were asking where their towns went as well, leading me to believe that he deleted all the towns, except for Iron City *which he was asking who made it* and Spawn Town *where I was*, which means that the server also needs reloaded to a restore point. I have looked up some laws regarding what he was doing, and if you can pull an IP from the server logs, then you have the right to call the police on him for harassment, since that is precisely what he was doing to everyone online at the time. I do not know exactly who was online at the time, but I know Tomp13, j0k3r_100, Jona27612, Redpandabeard, bakacoconut, xxsniper1313xx, and several others were online at the time, Brendal100 being the hacker.
I am pretty sure everyone that was online, and anyone who reads information about what happened will understand why the server went down, and will understand why it might stay down for a period of time. I don't know what you can do to fix this, and keep brendal100 off of the server, but whatever you can do, please, by all means, do it, even if it means you have to change the server ip, port, and only tell the people you trust about it for now.

So . . . yeah. Needless to say, SFX is amazing and probably psychic, as he woke up, and messaged me IMMEDIATELY after I sent the email. And he fixed it. Turns out, the kid was lying about being the developer of mcAdmin . .. and in reality he hacked the bukkit plugin.
And I really REALLY want to take a vacation from being an admin after that. I cried, and then proceeded to drink a bunch of wine *still drinking* and then cried some more.
I mean holy shit I don't get paid enough to deal with that sort of shit.
