My Pokemon bring all the kids to the yard...
I went camping with Steve and his family for Memorial Day weekend. It was a lot of fun. At one point we went garage saling, and I bought a GameBoy Pocket, Pokemon Silver, a Megazord (old school Power Rangers) action figure, and some mugs for the new house. There was a big thunderstorm Sunday night/Monday morning, which scared the crap out of my half-asleep self. Thunderstorms themselves don't creep me out; it's the thought of a tree being struck by lightning and falling on me that does it. But after like 5 minutes, I fell back asleep haha.
Yesterday I played hockey for the Princesses, and then I subbed for the Noodles (basically our second team). I wasn't wearing my gloves for the second game, because Brad of the Woods was going to wear them as a shenanigan. A girl from the other team and I went after the ball, and she ended up hitting me in the thumb with the blade of her stick. It pushed the cuticle back, and scraped a few layers of skin off. There's blood under the nail, and a chunk of my skin missing. Super hot. It hurts like a bitch, but on the bright side, I get to wear Scooby Doo band-aids.
Dave King came over tonight and we played Wii. It was nice seeing him again. He showed me Maddox (the guy who wrote The Alphabet of Manliness)'s fashion tips for women, which was hilarious. I used to read stuff on his website back in the day.
Tomorrow I'm hitting up the batting cages with some hos, and then going to a bonfire. Quite a few people that I haven't seen in a while will be at the fire, so that will be cool.
