So I took my last final today. It was way easier than I had expected. I could have never gone to class, and never read any of the books, and still passed.
Sold two of my books to the bookstore...got roughly 50 bones for them, not too bad. I'm going to sell the rest online and make more bread. I would have sold these online too, but they are made exclusively for U of M D, thus I probably would have had a hard time finding any buyers.
I started my new job at the law firm on Wednesday. I really don't know how long I will be able to stay there. It's good experience for law school (Jayson was going to teach me how to do a whole bunch of lawyery stuff), but my OCD wants to explode when faced with their filing system, and the receptionist (who is basically my boss) is a complete bitch who thinks everyone else in the world is inept. She's also a complete moron, which is great.
All those things I could deal with, except that Marcus (one of my bosses at IKEA) has me scheduled at 5 PM basically through May, and the new place wants me to be there until 5. I talked to Jayson about me leaving at 4:30, but we both came to the conclusion that it would kind of defeat the purpose of me even being there (I would only work 2:30-4:30), and I don't want to go in later at IKEA because:
a) I make a lot more money at IKEA
b) I committed to IKEA first
c) I have more potential to move up at IKEA
I'm going to work next week at the new job, try and figure some things out, and if I decide it's not worth it, I'll quit soon. I just don't want this to reflect poorly on Jayson, seeing as how he got me the job.
A bunch of us are heading to Sport Way tonight for putt-putt, batting cages, go-carts, and all-around shenanigans. Summer break has officially begun (which leads me to wonder why Monday is supposed to be 46 degrees).
Saturday I am going looking for cars!
I still have to go to Franklin to get my transcripts so I can be a guest student at Haggerty High over the summer.
Main office out.
