R.I.P. Bumpasaurus
I had planned on doing some reading before class, but I left my book in my mom's car, so I figured I would update. Plus I haven't really done any serious updates in about a year. I'm not going to write on MySpace anymore because my mom found mine, and got pissed about the entries, then she got pissed when I made my MySpace private.
*The Bumpasaurus (my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus) is no longer usable. I got a flat tire last week, and upon taking it to the car place to get a new tire, I asked them to check out some stuff for me that I had been planning on checking out. I come to find out that the rear brakes are completely toast, and the front are less than 10%. Also, the suspension is all jacked up, there is a mysterious leak from my engine, and my radiator hates me. So, I am in the process of trying to purchase a certified used vehicle. I was just going to lease something for a few years, but the deals I've found really aren't all that much better than buying a car.
*On an awesome note, we leave for Worlds tomorrow. For those of you who are not familiar with Worlds, it's basically the World Series of winter drumline. I am very excited, mainly because I think we really have a good chance for making finals this year. And even if we don't, it's still a hella good time of a weekend.
*Aside from one class where the teacher is being a still whore about contacting me (I have sent numerous emails about a paper, none of which have been replied to, and you can't actually go to her office), I think my grades are going to be pretty good. Unless I totally crap myself next week, I should be able to pull out an A in both HIST 102 (Medieval World) and HIST 111 (American History 1). I think a low B is a little more realistic for my HIST 300 class (Study of History...preparation for being a history major), mainly because the teacher seems to hate my final paper topic, but whatever.
*The class with the whore professor is later today at 3, so maybe I can FINALLY get ahold of her. Let's pray she isn't going to fall me because of her own ineptitude.
*My mom and Dudash are still the whores they've always been. New revelation I've had: I believe my $8000 inheritance was spent somehow. Delicious. I'm sure it had to do with fees at Central, but I'm peeved because it's my money, and I think I should be the one deciding what to do with it, and I was told that Central would not be paid for by me at all. Wtf.
*I'm a part-time receptionist for Loss Prevention at IKEA. I really enjoy my job. I'd really like to move up to being an LP Agent (IKEA's version of security, but cooler) sometime soon, but for now, I'm happy.
*Yesterday I got a job working with Peterson at a law firm. Not too many hours, but the extra bread will be nice.
*I will be returning to instruct Franklin's marching band in the fall, except now I'll strictly be doing visual as a field tech, rather than music and visual for the brass.
*Steve and I will have been dating for a year and a half in May. It's nice to finally have a relationship where I can actually completely be myself 100% of the time, and vice versa. I really am dating my best friend. :)
