87.9, bitches
Today was the Southgate show. We got an 87.9. Heck yes.
This weekend was really pretty amazing. Amazing friends, amazing show.
Friday we had our normal practice. During one of our run-throughs, at the part where the closer changes into 4/4 time, I started kinda blacking out. This caused me to crash into Steve and Dave on a few sets after, and then hit Ed. Then I was late making it to the part where we would start the flyover. It sucked. I felt like such an idiot.
After practice, we went to get Taco Bell.
Saturday was a good practice. I stole Glen's hat and he chased me around the cafeteria for a while. At one point, he totally tanked it and hit the floor. It was sooo funny. Then he whipped me with his keychain and left a big welt. :\ Lol. After practice, I went to my aunt's house and showered, then drove Cathy, Jessie, Ed, Rich, and myself to the Lakeland show to watch some other lines. After getting confused a few times (Cathy and Jessie only brought me page 1 of 3 of the MapQuest directions lol), we met up with some other kids from drumline. Adrian told Jessie she would pay her $20 if she slapped Jen the next time she saw her. I <3 Adrian. Steve suggested we buy Jen a hotdog and some popcorn haha. Then after the show, we all went to Wendy's for some dinner.
Today was pure awesomeness. Our show rocked. Sadly, my voice cracked up like an octave during the second scream, and you can definitely hear it on the tape. :/ We got back to Franklin at about 3, and then a bunch of us headed to CiCi's. It was definitely interesting, to say the least haha. Then, since we had 4 hours to kill before we had to unload the trailer, I stopped at home to get my rollerblades, and went rollerblading with Chris for about an hour. Then I parked in the parking lot by Grant Elementary School, and took a 45 minute nap.
At 8:30, we unloaded the trailer, watched Anthony's video of today's show, then Ethan, Matt, Mindy, and I went to Steve's to hang out. We watched the show twice more, this time from Steve's family's recording. It was kind of cool seeing it from a different angle, since it was shot from the other side of the gym than Anthony's was.
I am so happy right now, it is ridiculous.
