Misti started to get a migraine on Thursday and it steadily got worse as the weekend progressed. This resulted in a trip to the emergency room early on Sunday morning. There they gave her a dose of Compazine and benadryl along with Sodium Chloride. After several hours her migraine was gone and they released her.
Yesterday she still felt really tired and slightly woozy. She felt another headache coming on and took some compazine and benadryl to counteract it.
She had a scheduled doctors appointment for today and we ended up going early because she was having blurred vision and a swollen and tightened jaw. The doctor concluded that these symptoms might be an allergic reaction to the compazine and urged Misti to take benadryl to help alleviate them.
We came home and chilled out for a while before heading to the clinic for an CT scan to rule out the chance that she had a stroke and will not know anything further until tomorrow.
