*looks up* Oh, hiiiiii, Ilmie! *waves* Vána was just trying to climb up the raindrops to reach the nice fluffy clouds and play with them, but the raindrops keep falling and won't let Vána climb them. *pouts some more*

Raindrops aren't for climbing on, Vána. They're just tiny drops of water; even if they didn't fall, they still wouldn't be able to support your weight. If you want to play with the clouds, you can come visit us at Ilmarin when we're not using them, though I'll have to ask Manwe if I can let you into the storage rooms.

...Using? Vána thought the clouds just lived in the sky and played hide-and-seek all the time.

*laughs* No, no, they're curtains of water vapor that we put up to hide the sky when we have to fix something.

*looks confused* But...what would sky-people have to fix? Does the sky get broken?

Not as such, but sometimes things crash into each other or go off-course and we have to put them right again, and sometimes we just put the clouds out to let the rain down because otherwise the sky would be flooded.

Ohh. *doesn't entirely get it, but whatever*

...Flower? *manifests an electric blue daisy and holds it up*

Yavanna says no, but Vána can make flowers any color Vána wants. And Vána likes the pretty blue. Doesn't Ilmie like the blue? It looks like the sky.

*privately thinks that the color is closer akin to that of Manwe's pajamas than to any shade she's ever seen the sky assume*

It's lovely, but I think you should listen to Yavanna and not mess with things too much. *scrounges for reasoning you might understand* The flowers might not be as happy if they're the wrong color.
