Most people go to their muses for inspiration. I go to mine to beg her to stop.

Once again, I find myself in a really weird place. This is not an uncommon feeling. I am regularly inundated with far too many plot bunnies to deal with both of an "original concept" variety as well as of a "derivative fanaticism" (what else is fandom, really?) based variety.

So when I find myself stuck with too many bunnies to write and not enough time to deal with it, I ask for help. Sadly, while it usually ends the problem; mark_clark's solution of using heavy ordinance in order to euthanize the gigantic, rabid, and steroid enhanced vampire bunny hordes has spectacularly failed. Instead I got writing pep-talk.

People might find this unusual, but I find it helpful to focus on something entirely unrelated to writing fiction when attempting (and failing) to fend off these inccessant critters from nibbling at me until I pay them some attention and put either pen-to-papyrus, or touch-type-digits-to-keyboard. I read.

So now, I have a solution I'm going to try. I'm going to recommend original and free to read online fiction - in the hopes this distracts me from many bunnies and introduces people to new things to love.

With that in mind, I feel it's fitting to link you all to Thalia's Musings, a blogspot based original web-published novel featuring the misadventures of the Muse of Comedy, as narrated by Thalia to the author (one extremely talented Amethyst Marie). So far, twelve chapters out of fifteen and the epilogue have been published - with a new chapter released every Monday.

Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do. Now, time for me to get back to wondering what other kinds of comedy and trickery Thalia can get up to in Greexe and on Mount Olympus...

internet humour, now for something completely different, twisted humour, honestly opinionated, original fic, writer's notes
