I bought an Ocarina and it's one of the best things I've done in ages, lots of fun just starting a new instrument and messing about trying to play Zelda tunes. It could see it getting addicting, buying a new instrument every week. Because, there's no real reason why right now you couldn't just pick up a flute or a saxophone or a piano and start playing it and become a flutist or guitarist or whatever. Or photographer, or novelist.
I'm reading a really good book called "Unless" at the moment. I'd really recommend it, great characterisation and writing. Carol Shields is the author.
