Opinions desired, plz
So, I'm writing the last chapter of my novel on the last day of Nanowrimo. It's pretty epic timing and quite exciting. I am going to finish it today, but I do have a few thoughts regarding the direction my plot took and I'd love to have some opinions from those of you out there interested in such things.
I wrote up a post about it here on my writing journal. It's basically that instead of following my outline at one point, my main character did something completely, completely different and thus changed the entire tone of the second half. I'm not sure it was a BAD change, but it was a big change and I'd really like to know if, as a reader, the change would put you off/disappoint you.
