Small Al picspam
So, I jumped through some hoops recently to win a song book off eBay.co.uk and it arrived today (thanks to lizblackdog!). I was surprised to discover that beyond just a lovely cover and music inside, there were seven large photos of Al Stewart from circa 1969. Some of them I had seen (albeit much smaller) in Neville Judd's photobook of Al, but several of them were not in that book at all. So, that was a very nice added bonus! As I love doing such things, I scanned the pictures and am sharing them here.
I may have one of these printed up for him to sign at one of the concerts later this month, but I haven't decided yet.
The cover, obviously.
Not so sure about the hat, but I dig the vest.
This is the back cover. I love his socks.
I scanned them basically exactly as they are. I greyscaled the black and white ones and tweaked the shadows/highlights slightly, and of course resized, but that's all. He was rather an attractive lad, wasn't he?
