The Feast of the Magi is over
My tree is down - I always take it down on Twelfth Night. My first tree in four years - it made me so happy. My decorations are mostly handmade and I do save them. Sister 1 sent me a beautiful Christmas cactus. Now I have to look up its care and feeding. My holiday season isn't truly over until we celebrate the two January birthdays for Sisters 4 and 6.
Books: I read Forgotten in Death by J.D. Robb and Into the Riverlands by Nghi Vo. I love Vo's technique of story-within-a-story.
TV: Watching Leverage Redemption, Three Pines and NCIS: LA. I've also got some catching up to do on Disney Plus since I just resubscribed.
I'm currently planning a visit to Tucson for the end of February to see Sister 10 and her husband. I was supposed to go in December but they both got sick.
So a reasonable start to 2023. As the sun sets over the Zamboni on the skating rink . . .
