Here is a poem that I wrote when I was in the mountain village of Kashimo, Japan. I wrote alot during my stay.
Sweet Nectar
Keys to my heart you have crafted
My soul a locked door for passersby
Not for you my sweet
Just come inside
Warmth awaits
Refreshing is your spirit so pure
Refined by the pounding of steel
Tempered and made strong
Help me on
Gates of fortune look down
Dismay I look past
This time I see true
May my request be granted
My throat is parched and dry
I long for a sip of your wine
Alas my mind finds comfort gently
See me to the fountain
The way to your soul I seek
Shrouded are the paths of life
My hand I shall keep against the wall
Hope is renewed by my thoughts of you
My yearnings twist up inside
A strange concept fills me up
Why such a burning
Will the flames subside
Ash could remain
Flowing valleys of romanticized notions
In my power I diminish these fabrications
Entertaining provides only more unrest
Pray for me
My clinging nature
