Holy Frak - pt 1

Well, if you don't want to be spoiled, anyone who watches Battlestar Galactica I just saw the season finale (Series 3, episodes 19/20 Crossroads Pt1 and Pt2), and have to comment.

Firstly, I know a lot of people have slagged off this episode. Well, of course they are going to have a cliff hanger, because if everything was resolved what would be the point?

I don't believe for a second that Roslin's cancer has returned. She's just taking the kumala extract to keep on having her visions. Which she does, clearly from the one she's had - only problem is this 'dream' is shared to the letter with Athena and Caprica. All about protecting Hera.

Now, we have two clear sides to the human/cylon war, right? Humans versus cylons. Obviously this is somewhat shaken as Tigh, Anders, Tyrrol and whatsherface believe themselves to be cylons - 4 out of the final 5 in fact. (Which was accompanied by them hearing a fantastic cover of All Along the Watchtower - I will definitely be buying that)

There are 7 known models of cylon, and 5 previously identified...which makes twelve! As in the 12 lords of kobol. And the 12 colonies. Well, what if there was a disagreement within the cylon humans, modelled after the lords of kobol (or even some wierd reincarnation) and the 5 did not agree with the other 7 and therefore went to the human side. Or maybe they were different. If I knew more about the bsg mythology I could better speculate but I think the cylon models must reflect on  some level the lords of kobol. That and the call sign 'Athena' is way too much of a coincedence.

Ooooh it's so difficult. I need to sort out my head.

Bed, now, more coherence later, with Starbuck thoughts, and speculation on the final cylon model.
