Garden update
the plum is in full bloom
the apples seem to be budding but I think they're still in shock from being planted
the figs are trying to bud but they may have been killed by the frosts, still waiting to be sure
the birch is budding but I need to retie the stakes; I spiralled it and it's going to cut a hole in the bark
the roses are putting out shoots with leaves
the flowers are putting up sprouts
the carrots show no signs of life yet
the vinca minor is hanging on, hopefully it will take over under the evergreens
the mint died back all the way to the ground during the freezes but it's coming back
the rosemary looks like it made it through the winter
most of the lavender is fine except the mexican lavender, which seems to have died
the jasmine needs to be planted in the ground somewhere; it has yellow spots on the leaves, nitrogen overdose?
