Summary: Liz's first time ever with a tiny babe

She’d seen kids. Seen mothers and fathers take care of them even. It was a normal part of life, kids. But that didn’t seem to matter at this exact moment in time. Wide hazel eyes stared down in to big pale blue eyes, a match of the babe’s mother’s. The little bundle wiggled in Liz’s arms and she made a soft noise as her arms shifted to accommodate the wiggle.
“Relax, Liz,” Rae’s soft voice chuckled. Her husband had taken a job here so when Liz wasn’t at work or with Pard she was spending more time with her sister. Who was now laughing at her discomfort.
“But she’s so tiny!” Kid and Liz was completely new territory. She’d taken care of her sister, sure. But not until her sister was walking and talking. After that, it was college and then turned. And children weren’t exactly in abundance within Pack and Pard and Kiss.
Hands moved to push at Liz’s shoulder gently, trying to get her to relax a little. “You are doing fine,” Nathaniel murmured with a smile, watching the touch help to relax Liz a little.
A soft giggle from the tiny babe in Liz’s arms relaxed her a little further though wide eyes never got any less wide. If she didn’t wiggle or squirm, Liz could handle this. Maybe.
“What ever are you going to do when you have to baby-sit her without me here?” Rae questioned. A bubble of laughter escaped the blonde sister at Liz’s horrified expression while Nathaniel kept offered support in the form of a hand on Liz’s back. It had been too good not to throw out there.
