Cassie frowned as they pulled up to the warehouse, her eyes sliding from the building to him. "I thought...you promised you wouldn't fight on my birthday."
Tony smiled at her and leaned to kiss her softly. "I'm not going to fight, Cas. I swear." He slipped out of the car, once it was parked, and moved around to her side to open the door for her. "This is something different."
She eyed him a little as she took his hand and let him help her out of the car. "Something different?" She wasn't dressed for a fight either. Neither of them were. She had on a short blue dress that had almost no back and he had on good slacks and a button down shirt. His tell-tale hat was at home, hanging on her bed post. It only came out when she was wearing it anymore. "What kind of different?"
He smiled as his arm slid around her waist and he started them towards the door. "A surprise, Cas." He kissed her temple with a chuckle. "Trust me."
"Trust you. That's like asking me to trust that Sammy won't sleep with someone when he goes out to a bar." She watched him as he chuckled at her words. "But you do keep your promises," she murmured softly. And if he promised no fight, she knew he'd stick with that promise.
His head bowed slightly, "I do keep them." He had a high level of integrity. "Now. Close those beautiful eyes of yous, hmm?"
Her brow arched a little as she watched him a minute. She sighed softly and let her eyes flutter closed. "Better be good."
He chuckled as he settled behind her and guided her through the door after he'd opened it. The warehouse was dark, just enough light to see where he was going without taking both of them down. Several feet in, he stopped them. "Alright. Open your eyes."
Her eyes fluttered open and she was just about to complain that she couldn't see anything when the lights turned on and over a dozen people yelled "Surprise!"
Her eyes widened as she gave a squeak at it all. The warehouse that was normally set up for fights with a cage and bleachers was decked out in all shades of colors. There were tables of food and booze where the cage normally sat and a dj booth was stationed on the back wall. Next to the dj booth was a mound of brightly wrapped gifts. Music stated to drift through the place as she turned and hugged Tony tightly. "Oh my God, Tony!"
Sam came up with a smile as Tony kissed her. "Happy Birthday, Sis."
Cas smiled brightly and tugged Sam into the hug tightly so the three were wrapped together. "Happy Birthday, Sammy!"
Tony hugged his twin cousins with a laugh. "Happy Birthday, both of you. Now let's get this party started!"
A round of cheers answered Tony as the three waded into the group of friends so they could all wish the twins a happy birthday too. The parent run party was yesterday, the one where they were prim, proper, and the perfect Bass children as society wished them happy birthdays. This though, surrounded by their friends their age, was all for them. And on a level only Tony could accomplish.
