..:Musing:..
~~I’m quickly developing a problem .. im trying to refer to this past weekend as “the best weekend ever”, yet because I get to spend nearly every weekend with Ash, this means that every weekend is the best weekend ever .. o.O Quite a problem, as you can see. However, let me continue this entry as per normal …~~
..:End Musing:..
Guess what?!? “What?!” I hear nobody reply. I just had one of the best weekends EVER!!!
So it all started on Friday night when I spent the evening with my Baby. We started with o’malleys for drinking (nothing cant be solved with the proper application on alcohol .. or bazookas), then went to hogs breath for dinner. A tasty, tasty steak dinner {which I couldn’t finish ;__;}. Met up with some of Ash’s defence chums, and spent the evening watching olympics while eating, then excused ourselves for more drinking - this time at our friend Grace’s house.
Grace’s drinking party was FREAKIN’ AWESOME!! Spent the night drinking Ash-made cocktails, worshipping the sun/heat god Goliath, and making out with Kelly (mainly to tease random-guy). Ash and I left early as we both had class in the morning, and spent an enjoyable night sleeping in His arms. <3
Saturday morning, omg, I was so excited. This was the first stage of me being made up as a cat for Ash’s special effects course, and I was so looking forward to the process (Ash had gone through it with me, and let me tell you, it was just as awesome as He described .. and then some!)
First, we had some issues with my hair (theres just so much of it - but I loves it *strokes hair). Finally decided on a high plait, cover with glad-wrap and masking tape. -__- then, I had a bald cap put on and glued into place (shame I didn’t get to see what I look like with no hair .. meh, maybe another time), was oiled up (not sure why, but felt good), and was told to relax as I was covered in purple alginate .. think putty goop. This was an experience! My eyes were goop-ed over, so I couldn’t see. My ears (covered by the bald-cap) were goop-ed over, so I couldn’t hear that well. And there was an interesting point later on where my left nostril was covered, so I couldn’t breathe properly. :D I was then covered with plaster cast. They applied it to the alginate, where it shrank, compressing tighter and tighter, putting me into a cacoon of quiet, and then .. … .. I had to sit there and wait for it to dry. :)
They then took it off me. Felt like peeling off a layer of skin. :P they then super-glued it back together, plastered the cast together, covered the hole in the back of my head (while making jokes about making my head into a bong, or a beer cup, or reaching through and touching my brains XD), filled it with, I believe, hydrosol 105.
After that, had lunch and read Dare Devil while Ash finished what He was doing. I have no idea what He was doing, but I hope he had fun doing it. With any luck, ill be able to go in again at some time and have a mould of my teeth done, so I can has kitty fangs. :P
To sum up, the entire experience was reminiscent of a day-spa trip. I had my hair done, was massaged with soothing oils, covered with a mud-pack, put into a sensory-deprivation chamber, and was sponged off with warm water afterwards.
It was frickin fantastic! I cant wait until the finished product .. Ash is so amazingly talented, and it was truly a joy to watch Him work. Im so proud Baby! *hugs*
Then went home, spent some time doing that which I love most, and had a nap. Woke up in a fuss after realising I had less than hour to scrub off leftover glue and goop from my person and get ready for dinner with Ash, His dad and His sister Nisha. Got ready only slighly behind, and dinner was incredibly pleasant. I always feel a bit awkward around parents, and Ash’s are no exception. But I really enjoyed spending time with His dad and His sister. It was nice to watch them teasing each other and having fun. Im glad I got to see Ash so smiley. :)
AND WE HAVE KRISPY KREMES!!! We went to the store just as they were about to close, and for the low, low price of our dignity were offered free donuts - just for singing the national anthem. Man, I havent sung that song in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages! But it was totally worth it! 30 donuts for the price of 12. Best spent $19.95 ever!
The rest of Saturday night was amazing. Its times like that when everything else just fades into the background, and it makes you realise just how much you love your partner. I love Ash. It doesn’t matter if were out on the town partying it up, sitting at His house watching one of the many movies we need to see, or just lying in His arms. I cannot get enough of Him, and I am truly honoured to be with Him, and truly blessed every moment I get to spend with Him.
Ash, I love You. The entire weekend was magical, and its all thanks to You. ThankYou, Mo Cuishle. *hugs*
That’s about it. Tune in next week for a recount of another best weekend ever!
Love!
