Spumoni!
The little things in life are what matters - spumoni! I found it at Kroger and bought 2 pkgs for $2 ea!!
No bites on the job front and it's a wee bit frustrating. If there is nothing in 2 weeks, I will go to one that I passed up.
I've decided to focus on other things like working out, stuff around the house and parties. I have a small dinner party on Sat and must say this is the perfect distraction for me. I am sooo loving the domestic part of me. I went to a dozen shoppes today looking for stuff for my dinner. The spumoni was an accident. I was looking for lasagna squares and forgot where I got them. One thing I did today was make the trek to Anna for liquor! Hey, it's alot closer than the Buckingham area of Dallas/Richardson from my house. Fossil Creek Liquor is the first booze you will find N of Richardson. Nice and clean place. Got some real Amaretto and Frangelico. Went to World Market and was really good to buy only what I needed (and 1 bottle of Vampire wine for $8.99). I even scored the ultimate DVD at WalMart - Back to School AND Easy Money on 1 DVD for $10!
I cleaned my front stoop (isn't that what they called it in the old days!) I had 2 plants that died in the planters. Replaced them with mini roses that were on clearance. They will live a month maybe! And, got my first pumpkins of the season!!! Other than it being humid as an SOB, it's *feeling* like autumn - in my mind only!
My mom called me and said she was worried. That she hasn't talked to me in 3 wks! Please! It was 1.5 wks. Funny, I call her usually 1-2 x wk. Just couldn't muster the energy to talk to her for awhile.
We saw some American movie tonight that was a remake of a Japanese one, called the Shutter I think. Funny! These movies are hilarious to watch. I really think some Halloween I should do a scary Asian horror character. The long black hair covering maybe one eye, the other one all big and scary looking, wearing like a white nightgown!
