A/n- I never actually planned to write a story that wasn’t NC 17 but I just couldn’t fit any smut in here :/ I was listening to Empty during my terrible chemistry class and just had to write it, but right now I really don’t like it. This story is a fail guys, hope it is decent at least :/
Junsu stopped in the doorway and looked at Jaejoong with slight tears in his vision; he was doing it again. He was sitting in front of the T.V. on the floor, motionless. On the screen was Yunho and Changmin, Homin, smiling and thanking their fans for the award in Changmin’s hands. Next to him sat his phone, on the dimming screen read ‘message sent to Yunho’.
Junsu looked up at Yoochun when he walked behind him and hugged his waist, looking sadly to Jaejoong. Junsu turned his attention back to Jaejoong and walked over to him, turning off the T.V. At the same time Yoochun walked over and sat on the floor, pulling Jaejoong into his arms. Jaejoong covered his face and started to sob, Junsu felt tears fall down his own face. He collapsed to his knees and put his head on Jaejoong’s lap, covering his face with his arms and crying. His and Jaejoong’s shoulders hook with their tears but only Jaejoong’s were heart broken enough to be audible. Yoochun looked at Jaejoong’s now dark phone with a hard face; one hand rubbing Jaejoong’s back and the other was in Junsu’s hair.
They stayed like this for a while; Jaejoong had stopped sobbing but was now lying limply against Yoochun. His emotionless dead face broke Junsu’s heart more; he could not help but keep crying. Only silent tears fell from Jaejoong’s eyes. Yoochun’s look hardened into a cold glare at Jaejoong’s phone. How could he do this to Jaejoong? He must know how much this hurts him. He noticed that Jaejoong was staring at the phone as well; this is when he decided they needed to move away. He looked down at Junsu, no words were needed to be exchanged, and he moved off of Jaejoong and sniffed. Yoochun stood up, not putting Jaejoong down but instead carrying him away from the phone and into his room instead. He laid Jaejoong on his bed and looked to the door, waiting for Junsu.
Junsu had not followed right away but glared as hard as he could at the phone, tears still present in his eyes.
“How could you?” His words were quiet but accusing.
He ran into Yoochun’s room to see them both and hugged Yoochun tightly, who hugged back. Both men got into the bed, Jaejoong moved close to Yoochun, his head in Yoochun’s right shoulder while Junsu cuddled up to his left, an arm was wrapped around each of them. No words were exchanged threw the entire evening, they weren’t necessary. Only comfort was needed, words would only make things worse. Yoochun could not sleep, while the other two seemed to cry in their sleep.
Junsu awoke the next morning and yawned. The events from last night invaded his memory and he felt his heart hurt. He sat up slowly to look on the other side of Yoochun to see if Jaejoong was up. However, he was not there and Junsu felt panic rise in his chest. He jumped up and ran into the living room, looking around, a flashing light caught his attention from the table. He walked over to it, picking it up to look at it. He knew that he should not read his hyung’s text messages but he had to, he had to know. His eyes widened when he saw the words ‘message from Yunho’ across the screen. He quickly reopened the message but whished he had not. The black words on the screen made his hand tremble and drop the phone to the floor; he had to find Jaejoong.
‘Leave me be, I don’t love you and I never will.’
Junsu went into every room, ripping open the doors and looking in the bathroom. He ignored the cats as they looked at him quizzically as he ran frantically around. Junsu had tears in his eyes as he opened the kitchen doors but what he saw ripped threw his body.
“Jaejoong!” He screamed.
Junsu went over to Jaejoong and fell to the ground, sobbing and shaking him.
“Yoochun! Yoochun!” He called out to his boyfriend, trembling.
As soon as Yoochun heard Junsu scream and call for him, he ran out of his room and looked around quickly, the sobs sounded like they were coming form the kitchen. He quickly went there but froze in the doorway, breath caught in his throat. This was not happening. He felt like he couldn’t move, he was completely paralyzed by the sight in front of him. The scene was forever etched into his mind, Jaejoong lying on the floor, cold and motionless, blood making a small puddle underneath him. All the while Junsu was screaming and shaking him, trying to rouse the man.
Yoochun finally snapped out of it and snatched up his keys, which had been left on the kitchen counter from when they had gotten home last night, and quickly picked up Jaejoong kissing Junsu’s forehead in an attempt to calm him down.
“I-It’ll be alright.” Yoochun said as comforting as he could.
But how could he try and comfort his boyfriend when things obviously were not going to be ok? Junsu grabbed Jaejoong’s phone while getting his coat from the main room and sprinted after Yoochun to the car. Yoochun got into the drivers seat, after setting Jaejoong in back, and waited for Junsu to get in before rapidly pulling out to the nearest hospital. It took mere minutes to reach the building and with in moments of them arriving Yoochun was walking through the doors holding onto Jaejoong while Junsu called for a doctor. Soon Jaejoong was on a bed, being pushed away by doctors. Yoochun hugged Junsu tightly, his own tears forming as Junsu screamed to go with him. Yoochun was terrified. Junsu could not know the truth, or did he already and just couldn’t accept it like himself?
Junsu finally quieted down and just leaned against Yoochun, crying silently. He found himself looking around the pretty empty hospital waiting room until the television up on the wall caught his eye. On the T.V. he saw Changmin and Yunho; they were in a familiar studio not to far away from there. Junsu pushed away from Yoochun and sprinted out of the hospital.
“Junsu!” Yoochun yelled, running after him.
Junsu did not pay any attrition to his boyfriend, only ran as fast as he could to get to the studio. He shoved open the radio doors when he arrived and ran in. He pushed past the shocked security who was not expecting Junsu; they looked to each other not sure of what they should do. Shortly after him Yoochun ran in but he saw him pushing open the doors that lead to the radio DJ.
Eunhyuk stood up when he saw Junsu, “Jun-…“ He started happily but then really looked at him, tears fell from his face. Junsu had such a look of hate on his face, gripping a phone so tightly in his hand his knuckles paled, “-su?” He finished his best friends name but his voice dropped to a questioning tone.
Eeteuk opened his mouth to say something, turning off the microphone for the radio but Junsu chucked the phone at one of their guests, Yunho, their other looked shocked, Changmin.
“I hate you!” Junsu screamed, tears falling, “How could you?! I hate you!”
Changmin stood up quickly, “Jun-“
Yunho did at the same time, “What?”
Junsu cut them off, “Shut up, just shut up! This is all your fault!”
Yoochun came in quickly and grabbed Junsu from behind to pull him away, not looking at either Yunho or Changmin as Junsu struggled to get away.
“He is dead!” He cried out, glaring straight through tears at their former leader, “Are you done now? You can’t do anything else to him because he is dead!”
Yoochun pulled Junsu out of the room and dragged him back to the hospital to try and calm him down. Yunho looked stunned at the spot were Junsu was, the other three remained silent. Yunho looked down at the phone, it was Jaejoong’s. He picked it up with shaking hands, He could not have meant Jaejoong was dead…right?
“No…” He answered his own question with what, he hoped, was the correct answer.
He unlocked the phone and slowly opened the messages, there was one from him. How could that be? He has not had his phone for two days and this was sent this morning? Soo Man had taken it from him, he said he was going to stop all of the prank calls but for some reason he needed his phone to do it. He slowly opened the message and time seemed to halt, he had to read the message five times to fully understand what was going on. His heart fell as he stared at the phone as it slipped from his grip and hit the floor. The world seemed to scream in his ears, but no one was speaking a word. He balled his hands into fists, tears coming to his eyes; this was not happening.
He left the studio, not even bothering to call for a car but hurried on foot to the hospital, the closest one. He figured it had to be close if Junsu had run from it. Changmin quickly picked up the phone and gasped, although he immediately called Soo Man.
Changmin did not speak with any type of formality, “What did you do?” His voice was strained with holding in his anger as he waited for the other to speak. “I don’t give two shits who you are, what did you do?!” He paused again, “You… how…” He shut the phone and threw it against the wall in anger; the two Super Junior members were completely lost but stayed in the dark because Changmin left after Yunho.
He caught up with Yunho who got the room number already and made his way quickly up to the room Jaejoong was in, Changmin followed. Yunho went into the indicated room but froze, looking only at Jaejoong, pale and laying in the bed, motionless. Changmin went in afterwards and held up his hands, explaining everything to the two staring at him.
Yunho did not look at anyone but went to the edge of Jaejoong’s bed and softly touched his cheek with a trembling hand, tears fell to the bed.
“Boo…wake up please… I-I love you.” He fell to his knees and held Jaejoong’s hand tightly in his own, “I need you.”
Yoochun put his hand on Yunho’s shoulder, “Yunho.” He did not think he could understand how he was feeling, he could only compare it to if he lost Junsu; Yoochun did not want to think about that.
Yunho shrugged it off, “He is not… gone.”
He could not say dead, he would not and did not believe it. He already made up his mind, he would not move from this spot until the love of his life opened his eyes.
