Summary: Hongbin realizes that your idols are not always what they are cracked up to be.
They were all still in awe, even after they had the trophy firmly in their hands, even after they started to hand out alcohol and pass snacks around. Hakyeon couldn’t stop crying, although he also couldn’t stop smiling so the others simply squeezed his shoulder and congratulated them on their first win. Hakyeon laughed and pushed at Inguk when he came and put his arm around him, nearly dumping alcohol in Hakyeon’s lap rather than giving him the warm liquor. Hakyeon nodded, sniffing and wiping his eyes quickly then downing the bottle and accepted a few other glasses of something from their seniors with a smile, shaking his head because all of these compliments were making him uncomfortable. He looked over and covered his smile with a hand from seeing Sanghyuk try and console a crying Taekwoon who wanted nothing more than to be left alone. Sanghyuk smiled happily and kept rubbing Taekwoon’s legs, even after Taekwoon seemingly threatened him with a raised hand. However, after a bit of hesitation Taekwoon only smoothed Sanghyuk’s hair back and rested his forehand against Sanghyuk’s and allowed him to hug him tightly. Sanghyuk smiled brightly over at Hakyeon and gave him a thumbs up from behind Taekwoon’s back. Inguk stood up to meet Jaehwan and Hyoshin when they returned with more alcohol, laughing happily as he helped pass out more drinks. Soon, no one was crying, but rather laughing and telling jokes to one another, simply enjoying their rare free time where they can all be together.
Hyoshin handed Hongbin a beer, smiling and Hongbin smiled shyly, running a hand through his hair nervously as he took it and quickly drank to try and calm his nerves. “You guys did very well today, you more than deserved that.”
Hongbin felt his face flush and quickly brought a hand up to hide his wide smile that nearly hurt his face but there was nothing he could do to make it any smaller. “That means a lot, thank you so much.”
Hyoshin chuckled and drank deeply from his drink, “You did exceptionally well Hongbin; not a lot of people could act like that. I mean I am certain I wouldn’t be able to pull that off.”
Hongbin’s eyes widened, his heart feeling like it was doing strange flips in his chest, “That isn’t true, you can do anything.”
Hyoshin rose an eyebrow at Hongbin, giving him a slide glance, then smiled and shook his head, taking another drink, “Thanks Hongbin-ah, but don’t dwarf your accomplishments. You are getting better pretty quickly.”
Hyoshin reached out and grabbed Hongbin’s arm, squeezing it before walking away to talk to some other guests. Hongbin stood frozen to that spot, his hand slowly reaching up to brush where Hyoshin’s hand was and if he concentrated enough he swore he could still feel the press of it. He smiled widely, quickly looking down because he was certain his face was flushed due to his excitement. He was knocked out of his happy trance, however, when somebody knocked into him, spilling some alcohol on the floor because of how haphazardly his arm was thrown around Hongbin.
Hongbin glared, “Han Sanghyuk, I swear to god if that alcohol doesn’t come out of Hyoshin hyung’s carpet I will murder you myself.”
Sanghyuk giggled, leaning heavily on Hongbin, “Hey, hey…hey, don’t act like such a girl hyung~”
Hongbin sighed, pushing at Sanghyuk because that kid was way too tall to be trying to use Hongbin for a support beam, “Are you drunk? Hyuk-ah who gave you all the alcohol?”
Sanghyuk stumbled back from the pushes and messily drank another mouthful, “Uhm, I think, no wait, I am certain. Hmm, it was Wonshik-hyung.”
Hongbin turned, fully planning on yelling at Wonshik but stopped when he saw him, the insults dissipating instantly. He sighed, rubbing his arm, staring at Wonshik for a bit longer than normal but, luckily, Sanghyuk was too drunk to notice otherwise Hongbin was sure he would get an earful of it later. Hongbin grabbed Sanghyuk and lead him to a chair so he could sit down and not further put himself in danger, or anyone else.
Hongbin smiled, leaning down to slowly slide a pillow underneath Sanghyuk’s head, gently patting his arm and shaking his head. Poor boy drank way too much he ended up passing out. He shook his head, glancing over the living room and it seemed everyone was asleep in the mess of cans and bottles. Hongbin started quietly to pick up, he felt more than bad for how they messed up Hyoshin’s apartment. He paused, taking a deep breath and looking around, permanent smile on his face; he couldn’t believe he was really here, he couldn’t believe that Hyoshin would not only let them have a congratulations party at his apartment but to actually invite them. He gently touched his jaw, looking down and trying to hold back his happiness from waking up everybody in the room.
He jumped when his arm was grabbed, startled he quickly looked behind him and his heart picked up for another reason. He put a hand over his heart and smiled, setting down the few cans that were in his hands.
“Hyung you scared me.” He chuckled softly.
“Sorry about that.” Hyoshin spoke close to normal but something was weird, his eyes were glassy and he just looked at Hongbin.
“You should get to bed hyung, your head will probably hurt tomorrow.”
Hyoshin nodded but it didn’t seem like he actually understood anything Hongbin just said to him. Hongbin’s brow furrowed with worry and he took a step closer, wanting to reach out and see if he had a fever but he was too nervous to touch him.
“Hyung, are you alright?”
“Hongbin can I talk to you?”
Hongbin smiled, feeling lucky that his idol wanted to talk to him, Lee Hongbin. “Of course hyung.”
Hyoshin didn’t wait for much longer and didn’t say another word. He grabbed Hongbin’s arm and lead him down the hallway, ignoring how Hongbin struggled to keep up with him even though Hongbin didn’t drink nearly enough to even get a slight buzz. Hyoshin pulled Hongbin into a room, one that Hongbin guessed was Hyoshin’s, but he didn’t have much time to revel in the fact that he was there. Hongbin reached up to grab the spot Hyoshin’s hand was, he was certain it was going to bruise due to the strong grip. Hongbin swallowed hard, his heart started to pick up his body started to prepare himself to run but his brain reasoned that Hongbin was with the safest man he could be with. Hyoshin was more than just a good vocalist that Hongbin looked up to, Hongbin admired him for his talent and his character. Hongbin heard a weird ringing from straining his ears in the dead silence and he swore he and Hyoshin could both hear his heart beat erratically in his chest. Hyoshin slowly turned around and looked at Hongbin but something was definitely off and Hongbin was having trouble rationalizing it.
“Hyung?” Hongbin’s voice was small, scared.
Hyoshin didn’t answer him but continued to look at Hongbin, making him start to feel like a small animal staring in the face of a large predator. Hongbin slowly started to back up, his body, his fear started to eat away any sort of rational thinking he had, or thought he had.
“Hyung, what is wrong?”
Hyoshin stayed silent and Hongbin turned to grab the door, he had to get away, get to someone else even though he told himself over and over he had nothing to fear. He gasped when he was turned around and pushed into the door roughly. Hongbin’s eyes widened, Hyoshin’s face was so close to him as he pinned him against the door. Hongbin was taller than Hyoshin, and he probably was more than capable of pushing him away but he felt paralyzed, his hands trembling as he placed his hands on Hyoshin’s chest to try and weakly push him away, his eyes starting to get blurry from tears because he had no idea what was happening, or why he was scared.
“You are so pretty Hongbin-ah.”
Hongbin felt frozen when Hyoshin ran his lips across his jaw and finally spoke but those words were something Hongbin didn’t expect. “Hyung, let go.”
Hongbin pushed at Hyoshin hard enough to make him move back a bit but before Hongbin could slip away he was shoved back into the door, his head knocking against the wood. He gasped, his eyes squeezing close from the pain, trying to pull his arms away when they were pushed into the door, Hyoshin’s grip hard enough to leave bruises. Hongbin’s eyes widened, wet, as he looked at Hyoshin, fear so obvious on his face but Hyoshin only smiled softly, pushing Hongbin’s hands above his head so he could hold them both with one hand, his other free to slowly trace down his face, snorting. His hand slowly made a detour, his fingers catching the tear that slid down Hongbin’s cheek before he leaned forward and pressed his lips to his neck.
Hongbin gasped and struggled to get away, “L-let go!”
Hyoshin growled and shoved him but Hongbin couldn’t go anywhere because he was already pressed against the door.
He covered Hongbin’s mouth and leaned over to speak closely to his ear, “Don’t scream.”
Hongbin opened his mouth the moment Hyoshin moved his hand but it was cut off by a broken yelp after Hyoshin yanked him back and pushed him onto the bed, making Hongbin bounce a bit from the force. Hongbin crawled backwards but he was having difficulties moving at all from how his body trembled. Hyoshin easily yanked Hongbin back on the bed, pushing him underneath him and smiled from those large wet eyes, how his hands that gripped his arms were weak, shaky with fear, all of it was so beautiful.
Hongbin choked on a sob, shaking his head, “No.”
Hyoshin shoved Hongbin’s hands down to the bed, “Keep these here.”
Hongbin pushed and tried to pull himself away the second Hyoshin’s hands left his but Hyoshin easily pulled his body back, a loud crack stopping Hongbin from moving. His head turned with the force of the action, his cheek and Hyoshin’s hand stinging from the blow.
“I said don’t move so much.”
Hongbin shook his head, voice thick with tears as Hyoshin roughly yanked his shirt off his head, his hands smoothing down his sides. Hyoshin grew irritated quickly of the broken pleas, the small pushes of his hands because he was too scared to actual put any sort of force behind his pushes. Hyoshin sat up on his knees over Hongbin and snorted at how Hongbin continued to try and escape so he hit him again, only this time not with an open fist and not only once. Hyoshin grabbed Hongbin’s jaw, forcing his head back and into the bed, his fingers getting wet from the tears.
“You are going to listen, don’t worry you will like it.”
Hongbin tried to shake his head but it throbbed, he put a hand to his head, closing his eyes from the pain but they flew open when his pants were forced down and off his body so Hongbin did the first thing that came to his mind, he kicked. Hyoshin moved a hand up to his jaw, glaring over at Hongbin who felt fear spread through his body. He scrambled back, needing to get to the door that was only a few feet away but Hyoshin grabbed his leg, under his knee and forced him back down, only not letting go. Hongbin’s breath picked up when his leg was hiked up farther and Hyoshin caught his other leg to hold it up also. Hongbin tried to sit up, to pull himself back but Hyoshin yanked him closer by his legs.
“Wait, wait no, please no.” Hongbin shook his head quickly, his breath picking up, his legs straining to try and pull out of his grip but Hyoshin only forced them apart farther, making it increasingly difficult for Hongbin to get away.
Hyoshin moved one of his hands for only a moment to undo his own pants, shoving them down just enough to bring his erection out and stroke it a few times before returning it to hold Hongbin’s leg.
Hongbin tried to scream but it was cut short, morphed into some sort of choked cry when Hyoshin pressed against his entrance and applied some force, only stretching it a bit but it was enough. “Shhh, Hongbin-ah, we don’t want to wake our guests.” He leaned closer to Hongbin, moving one hand to gently trace over his lips, “You are so beautiful Hongbin-ah.”
Hongbin quickly looked away, closing his eyes and gripped the bed sheets in tight fists, there was a group of people just down the hall way, if only he could get off one good yell they might be able to hear him, be able to come and help him. He was knocked out of his thoughts when Hyoshin pressed against him again, only this time his erection was slicked with something and he was pushing in more. Hyoshin quickly shoved part of the blanket into Hongbin’s mouth to muffle the scream before he had to close his eyes from the intensity of pushing into him. He gasped, stilling only when he was fully pressed into Hongbin and he opened his eyes, looking over the pained expression on Hongbin’s face as he bit the blanket hard, trying to null some of the pain. Hyoshin chuckled but it quickly turned into a scowl when Hongbin reached for the blanket with a shaky hand so he quickly pulled out, well as fast as he could with how tight Hongbin was, half way to shove himself back in. Hongbin screamed again, still muffled, and Hyoshin pressed his hand into the blanket roughly so he could grip his hip and start moving. Hongbin clawed at the bed, not noticing how he pulled the fitted sheet from its secure place nor the dull ache in his nails from being dragged so harshly against the mattress. Hyoshin closed his eyes and set up as fast of a pace he could make, that is until he found that he began to move a bit easier inside of Hongbin, like he was a bit wetter than before. He opened his eyes to look down, feeling more arousal from how his erection forced its way into Hongbin, only now the lube he had lathered on was now of a more red color. He paid no mind and continued to pump himself into Hongbin, listening to his muffle sobs and screams which only heightened his arousal. His only wish was that he could hear Hongbin’s begging, his screaming in its full glory, really get an earful of his beautiful voice to match that pretty, tear stained face. However, he had no choice because he really couldn’t have his house guests waking up from their drunken stupor and ruining all the fun. Hyoshin grunted, bowing his head because there was no way he was going to last long. He slowly looked over Hongbin, his entire body was the essence of beauty and he was just so tight around his erection, like his body begged him to stop even though his pretty mouth couldn’t make out logical words. Hyoshin didn’t stop forcing himself into Hongbin as hard as he could until he fully rode out his orgasm, emptying himself inside of Hongbin with clenched eyes.
Hyoshin slowly pulled out, grimacing from how messy his erection and sheets were going to be but he ignored that for now and got up to go into his bathroom and wipe himself off. He came out within a few minutes and smiled to see Hongbin still lying there, limp, on the bed and upon further inspection, unconscious. Hyoshin slowly pulled the wet blanket from his mouth and fixed the sheets the best he could so he, too, could fall asleep.
Hongbin’s eyes slowly slid open and for one, blissful moment he forgot where he was, what had happened. He blinked his eyes in the dark room but he couldn’t see anything and his vision was so foggy, which didn’t help anything. However, his memory came back quickly and hit him hard, suddenly the pain he felt in his body returned with force. He whimpered but quickly covered his mouth when he heard a soft snore next to him. Fear struck Hongbin to the very core and he only knew one thing and that was he had to escape now. He slowly started to get out of bed but his body was trembling so much and ached so much he couldn’t stand properly on his own. He leaned heavily against the wall next to the bed and bit hard on his finger to hide his cry of pain that shot through ever nerve. He breathed deeply, trying to hurry to the door but he could only move so fast on such unstable legs. He gripped his stomach, feeling such a strong urge to vomit when he felt something, cold and wet drip down his legs. Tears filled his eyes instantly but he had to get out, he had to escape, he only prayed that someone was still there. He opened the door with great difficulty, his vision was so blurry he missed the door handle three times before managing to find it and slowly open it. He practically fell through the door way and into the wall of the hallway, he choked on his breath from fear of waking Hyoshin but he couldn’t stop now to make sure, not when he was so close. He was only able to reach the living room before he collapsed, his legs no longer able to keep him supported, not when he was trembling so terribly and the sharp pain that gripped him. He gasped a few times, blinking furiously as he looked around, everyone was still there but suddenly he felt terrified to reach out for help. He covered his mouth to hide a sob, slowly looking back from where he came but he couldn’t look long because of the ever increasing fear. He slowly crawled closer to the group of people and looked up but he had to swallow quickly otherwise he would have vomited on the carpet right there. He looked at Wonshik’s sleeping face with wide eyes, he couldn’t wake him, he couldn’t tell him, and he couldn’t stand the idea of Wonshik looking at him differently. He couldn’t stand the idea that he would lose the only thing he could ever have with Wonshik, friendship and he felt like he had to sacrifice enough to even get that.
Hongbin quickly looked away but his eyes fell on someone else, Jaehwan. If there was anyone in this world that Hongbin could trust with anything it would be Jaehwan. He knew that Hakyeon was very trust worthy there was just this unspoken understanding with the younger members that Jaehwan was the most trust worthy member. Hongbin slowly crawled over to Jaehwan, he would have to stop here and there to brace himself because suddenly the room would start spinning and whatever Hongbin ate last night kept threatening to come out. However he was finally able to make it to Jaehwan, fresh tears falling down his face, or maybe he never stopped crying, as he shook Jaehwan once, twice.
“H-hyung.” Hongbin’s voice was horse, raw and small but it seemed to be enough.
Jaehwan slowly opened his eyes and looked confusedly at Hongbin, his brain not registering that this was an emergency and he slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes and judging how it was dark he deduced it was still night time, not like that helped his vision, or lack of, “Hongbin-ah? What time is it?”
Hongbin started to shake more, now afraid to speak, even to Jaehwan, but he had to get out of this apartment because he didn’t feel safe, not just yet. “H-hyung…please…please take me home…I need to get out, hyung help me.”
Jaehwan’s eyes widened, though that didn’t help his seeing problem, and reached out to quickly touch Hongbin’s face, worriedly, “Hongbin-ah, Hongbin-ah what happened, what is wrong?”
Hongbin shook his head, a broken sob breaking through, “Please take me home.”
Jaehwan didn’t ask another question but instead stood up and pulled Hongbin up to do the same but Hongbin’s legs buckled and he gasped in pain. He would have fallen if Jaehwan didn’t catch him and hold him close, but then Jaehwan stopped moving and he swore he couldn’t breathe.
Hongbin wasn’t wearing any clothes.
Jaehwan quickly yanked his sweatshirt off his body, helping it on Hongbin and pulling the hood over his head before picking him up, not saying a word as he walked out of the apartment, holding Hongbin close and keeping his head down. Luckily, it was very early in the morning so the apartment complex was dead, along with the parking garage that it was next to. However once they got into the light Jaehwan was able to see a bit more clearly even though he didn’t want to. There was something on Hongbin’s legs, something wet and he bit his bottom lip feeling a weird mix of rage and pain. Nothing mattered at that moment but getting Hongbin to a safe location and getting him cleaned up. Jaehwan laid Hongbin down on the back seat before running into the driver’s side, starting the car despite his shaky hands. He drove a bit too fast, with only half of his attention turned to the road. His jaw set as he glared at anything and everything, not really seeing other people the entire way back. He gently pulled Hongbin out of the car to carry him up to their dorm, his heart feeling as if it was being stabbed every time Hongbin sobbed into his chest.
Jaehwan shoved the bathroom door open with his shoulder, not totally hearing the loud bang it made when it connected with the wall. Instead he gently set Hongbin down in the bath tub, leaning over it to touch Hongbin’s cheek gently with shaky hands. “I-I need to call an ambulance, I need to take you to the hospital now.”
Hongbin grabbed Jaehwan’s arm, shaking his head quickly, “No, no don’t call anyone.”
Jaehwan felt weak under Hongbin’s grip, he fell back down to his knees feeling panicked because he felt as if he was watching Hongbin break and he could do nothing but watch, “Hongbin-ah you need to go to a hospital, you need to get help.”
Hongbin tightened his grip on Jaehwan and shook his head, “No! Please hyung, please no.” He covered his face, crying openly into his hands and trying to bring his knees up to his chest but he yelped in pain.
Jaehwan ground his teeth and yanked the handle for the bath, turning the water on which was ice cold at first, making Hongbin gasp and goose bumps broke out over his body but it quickly turned warm. Jaehwan turned on the shower, looking down for a good few minutes before looking at Hongbin who was sitting there, wet and sniffing. Jaehwan leaned over and pulled the sweat shirt over his head so he could get washed up.
“Hyung…”
Jaehwan felt panic, “What is it Hongbin-ah?”
“Just…I am so sorry. Hyung I’m sorry.”
Jaehwan ground his teeth, gripping the side of the tub and he swore he was seeing red from his rage, “Hongbin-ah, you listen to me. This is not your fault. I am here for you ok? Just… just tell me what happened.”
Hongbin shook his head, looking down, “Hyung…I can’t. I’m sorry. N-not now.”
Jaehwan frowned, “Hongbin-ah, please-“
“Hyung I can’t. I’m sorry but don’t tell the others.”
Jaehwan wasn’t sure if he could do that one, “But Hongbin they can help you too, please just let us help you.”
Hongbin shook his head faster but he felt dizzy afterwards, moving his hand up to grip his head, “No.”
Jaehwan bit his bottom lip hard, he would have to talk to Hongbin about it later, but for now he agreed to keep this a secret, “It won’t be one for long. We will have to tell the others soon ok?”
Hongbin nodded absent mindedly even though he had no real intentions on ever telling anyone else about this. He squeezed his eyes shut and gripped his hair, shaking his head more and feeling his eyes burn from a fresh batch of tears. Jaehwan leaned forward, not caring at all that his shirt was getting wet from the spray of water.
He put an arm around Hongbin and leaned his head against his, “Shhh, Hongbin-ah I am here. You’re safe now. I won’t let anyone hurt you.”
Hongbin took deep breaths because he honestly did feel safe. He closed his eyes and started to even out his breathing.
“Thank you hyung.”
“Don’t mention it.”
Jaehwan closed his own eyes, not being able to fight the tears anymore that began to fall quickly, he couldn’t watch the strangely light red fluid being washed away from Hongbin’s legs, he couldn’t look at the deep purple, nearly black marks that peaked around from behind his knee and the back of his thighs and around his wrists; he couldn’t look at how his face was swollen and red. Jaehwan wasn’t stupid, he knew exactly what happened to Hongbin, and the only thing he could think about was this had happened merely a few rooms away from him and he did nothing.
Part 2
