So, Mother's Day wasn't all too bad. Stayed up a little later than expected--but it was worth every moment--and didn't get up until 10am. After I finally dragged my butt out of bed after a bit of procrastinating and finally went to make breakfast/brunch (definitely brunch by this point.)

Ended up making cinnamon sugar pancakes (and some chocolate chip ones just in case my second test run of the cinnamon ones didn't turn out well.) Fortunately for me, they did! Tasted pretty damn freaking good if you ask me. Better than when I made them last week.

I love making pancakes, but I need like a giant griddle >.>; I'm sure things would go quicker if I made 'em bigger than my fist, but hey, I'd rather have more smaller ones than fewer huge ones. Plus I don't want to try turning huge pancakes like the ones you get at restaurants or diners. I'd make a huge mess!

So yes, breakfast was done. I was kinda hoping I'd hear word on whether we were going to the movies or not today, but we never did end up going. Wanted to see the damn new Star Trek movie too and we'd talked about it the other day. I guess after Mom and Pop watched a fucking bootleg of it last night, they decided they didn't need to go see it in theatres. I'm like, oh thank you very much. -.-; I'd suspected that'd happen the second Mom popped in my room last night and told me they'd watched it.

Of course, the other reason could have been...

...the fact that my brother's car got broken into TWICE in the same damn mall yesterday night. I wish I was kidding about that. The first time, the cameras in Carousel Center either weren't on or happened to be pointed elsewhere when it happened, but that's when the faceplate to his stereo and iPod were taken. But you can betcha the cameras were on the second time when some kid went over and tried the door the first person left unlocked, reached in for his bookbag, and started walking off with it!

Fortunately, they caught that mother fucking bastard, but there's nothing that can be done about the first theft. I'd wanted to say, "I told you so" because I'd warned him about leaving his iPod in the car many times before, but he maintained that locking the doors would be enough. But man...the look on his face... I'd be a big asshole if I did that. I kinda just want to tell Mom and Pop to take anything they're thinking of using for my birthday and use that to help him get a new iPod. He had all his music on that thing, and I know with my own attachment to mine, I'd be devastated losing it--but I have backups of all my music and audios. He didn't thanks to computer kerfuffles over the past couple years.

But yes. Then I ended up making dinner as well. And dishes. And ugh. Yeah, very kitchen oriented day for me, but! I listened to some good audios though doing all that ^^; Finished Chaos Pool making breakfast. I definitely think the Key 2 Time series was one of the Fifth Doctor's best set of audios they've done for him in a while. Later, I got midway through A Storm of Angels. It's really good so far! I'm really liking the DW Unbound series~

That's really about all...yeah. S'bout it ^^;
