So I had a job interview yesterday and then today I was called back for a second interview, went through all that and got a call that they want me to come in for the final interview to discuss paperwork and getting started! I HAVE A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray! I'm beyond happy. Especially since this isn't just a job, it's a career and it's a career where if I work hard at it and desire to I can actually retire in 10 years. Can you imagine that? It's working fora company calle American Income Life Insurance. They are a union based company that sells to union based companies. The rates are really low and the coverage is aweome. So it's totally something I can say I believe in and can be behind since, it'll be my life insurance as well once I get started fully. There is some training involved as well as the requirement to get a liscense to sell insurance. But after that, I'm good to go. It is commission based but regardless, I'm guaranteed to bring home $175 weekly no matter what. That's always a comfort. The only real downfall is that it is primarily an evening job. So that means I'll have to miss out on a lot of things with Alex. Especially bedtime. But there is a possibility that I can schedule appointments around bedtime for him and maybe be home every night by 7:30. I don't honestly know. The job says the hours worked are usually between 2-10 except for days that you're in the office. It also includes full benefits and a 401K plan as well as stock options. This will be good for Alex and I.I'm super happy and so relieved. It will still be about a month before I see my fist paycheck, but that's minor considering the money I'll be bringing in and they don't lay off or fire unless you've done something drastically wrong.. I'm secure in my job and that's all I could ever ask for.
new job,
