I told Carl today that he's not enough of a hardass. I'd told him the other day that I am not going down to Germain Toyota again until I know what the deal is going to be, so yesterday he went down there to take a look at the three Highlanders they just got in and called us about, and talk numbers.
Apparently the finance manager wouldn't talk numbers because Carl's not going to sign and drive without me there, and I wasn't there. So today, I'm going to enjoy going down to this place and breaking this guy's mind. If things go as planned, I'll walk away with a new Highlander at a stupid low price.
Carl said he explained to the salesman afterwards when both of them headed down to World of Beer that he's the German, he goes in and says, "I take your country." and he takes your country. He said me, being Italian, I go in and take your country, I kick you out, brand you for life, take your children and your refridgerator. They guy's eyes just kinda got wide. I'm looking forward to this.
