[Giuliana] Hide and Seek (March 17, 2010 part 2)

Noting Giuliana's pensive mood, the elder Gangrel stops the car and smiles, suggesting a game.  He reaches down to take her foot in one hand and slide her stiletto off.

She looks sideways at him, "What are you doing?"

"You run, I chase you in the woods," he explains the guidelines, removing her other shoe, "Cunning fox or skinned rabbit, either way it's not boring."

Giuliana chuckles, "Ok, I'll take your bet."  He never specified that she couldn't use supernatural abilities, and for a moment, she almost felt bad at his disadvantage, he wouldn't be able to see her to chase her.

"And while you will enjoy yourself for some aspects of that game...others you might not.  You have thirty seconds."  He grins and extends his nails ever so slightly.

She looks intently at him for a moment, and then turns, opening the door. She slips out into the darkness, and
suddenly she breaks into an inhumanly fast run.  As she crosses the treeline, she slips past a tree and is suddenly gone from sight, obfuscated.  Her vision sharpens in the darkness, and she stops about thirty yards away, turning to see Godaric strolling casually into the woods.

She goes a short distance further, silently climbing up into a tree to wait.  Through the darkness, she can barely hear him sniff the air, and then his voice calls out,  "I have the ears of a wolf and the senses Galen taught me.....but a hunter of skill knows to use bait."

She suddenly feels herself called to him, and curses silently, dropping out of the tree and jogging towards him.  His eyes fix on her form, dark in the shadowy forest, and he smiles a predatory grin, "The question is can you run fast enough and hide again before I catch you..."

About ten yards from him, the Mekhet's eyes widen, and she suddenly turns heel and runs again.  He gives chase immediately, and for the two vampires, the chase is quick and short.  He lets loose a slight snarl as he charges her and tackles her to the ground, barely out pacing her.

She lets out a shriek as he catches her, landing on the ground on her stomach.  He pushes her down to the pine needled floor, one hand in her hair, the other in the small of her back, "Fast...."

The Mekhet grins even as she winces slightly, "Si, I am faster now."

"....but not fast enough."

"Mmmm... I will be, soon enough."

There's a challenge in her voice, and he pulls her back towards him with his arm moving around her waist, slightly scraping with his talons, long enough to tear through wood and bone, but gentle against her, "But not today.  Are you less bored Gia?"

Giuliana gasps, her hands going to his wrists as she tries to pull on them to free herself, "Si, I never said I was bored though."

She tries to flip herself over, but he keeps her in her current position, "You go where I say you go. I've caught
you fair..." he pulls her closer to him, "...and I intend to have you how I want you."

The Mekhet relents, groaning, "Si... I wasn't aware you could summon..."

"If you are mine, then it's my language I'm going to hear."

Giuliana switches to Gothic without question, "My apologies."

She still makes it to the airstrip without being late, frowning at a small indistinct smudge on her clothes as the car pulls away and she ascends the steps.
