[Giuliana] A Game of Cat and Mouse (Feb. 20, 2010 part 4)
"Summon him back." Giuliana stares at Diamondtrim intently.
The Daeva looks at her, confused, "Who?"
"The Sheriff." Her voice is flat, and her jaw tenses slightly. Aidan had told her via text that he was going with Mia to meet with Liberty, and she hadn't been able to stop him in time. Why would he trust Mia with his safety? She's working with Liberty.
"Why, where's he going?"
"To meet with Liberty."
"Oh." He stops questioning her, staring off for a moment, making a funny face, and then grins at her, "Done."
She frowns slightly, drawing her brows together, and then nods, "Grazie, Prince Slim."
An hour later, Aidan still hasn't returned, and now he isn't replying to messages either. Then, another number pops up on the screen, message incoming: Liberty has the Sheriff
Giuliana growls slightly, phone held in hand as she pulls back, about to toss it against the wall, and then she restrains herself, instead pressing a button on speed dial. A familiar male voice answers, and she smiles tightly, "Si. I need a favor..."
