Summary: A night in the life of Saeki Kojirou.
Depending on what is happening, Saeki sometimes rises when the sun sets but often sleeps in. He claims why would anyone want to get out of bed when sleeping in Bane’s arms?
When he is finally awake, he is always treated to a goblet of blood in bed whether or not sex with Bane takes place first. This is followed by a shower, alone, then dressing and styling his hair.
Once that is taken care of, Saeki still doesn’t head down to the club or out hunting. There is always time to give to Sir Bacardi, his dog Bane gave to him one year. They play fetch with a ball, tug-o-war with a knotted Gucci sock, and a quick stop outside for the bathroom.
Finally, Saeki emerges in the office where is always doing the book-keeping even though Saeki said he would run the club, but he’s not good with math and Bane likes to spoil him. They spend time talking about what they’ve done separately lately, the club, and battle plans with Saeki always trying to draw out the time he spends with his partner.
When employees start arriving, Saeki turns up his natural charm and interacts with them until the doors open and then customers earn his attention. He’s not a trained bartender but knows enough that he often helps out with making and serving drinks.
Since he leads a double life, his nights can be full and tricky.
Saeki, the co-owner of Bleeding Moon, often stays on the floor from open to close, socializing to keep up their reputation but also keeping an eye out for spies, his own information collectors, and someone to supply a quick drink in the back.
Kojirou, the vampire, is clever and not afraid to make daring moves in the war he started because he was bored and wanted to own Shibuya for the shopping. When he’s not at the club bringing delicious toys upstairs to play with, he’s out causing trouble, often with Bane close beside him but sometimes he sneaks free.
On a normal night, Saeki stays in control of himself but there are nights where sanity slips and the vampire created from being kidnapped and tortured breaks free and has extra fun that is bloodier and rougher. Only Bane has the ability to soothe him and so far, Saeki doesn’t mind the help in being himself again.
Whether or not he is done visiting with friends and causing havoc, Saeki always returns home at the latest thirty minutes before sunrise. He doesn’t go to bed instantly but instead recaps the night with Bane, makes new plans, and meets with any of his human minions that have updates.
Once everyone leaves, Saeki tends to Snowflake, his parakeet from Bane, and spends more time with Sir Bacardi.
As the excitement of the night fades, he strips down and crawls into bed beside Bane. Sometimes there is sex but he always falls asleep in his friend’s arms, head nestled on Bane’s chest.
