We have been going to the high school track to walk/jog. We got new sneakers this weekend since the ones we had were not very track friendly. New sneakers are much better. I don't love it, don't hate it. It isn't that bad at all. Just y'know boring.
There was nothing on TV last night so we ended up watching part of Mo'Nique's Fat Chance: Paris. Holy shit, if I ever get that fat *shudder* I never want my stomach to be so big and droopy that you can't tell if I have underwear on.
Ok I am all for "fat" acceptance. Not everyone is a size 2, that’s life. I am not all for people who are at risk for diabetes, heart attacks, and tons of other health problems demanding that people accept them. You don't have some horrible genetic disease, you weren’t born with no legs, and stop acting like the world should accept you for having no self control. I can't stop eating cheeseburgers, accept me dammit!
On less of a Rant, we saw Transformers, Harry Potter, and the Simpson’s this month. I guess we turned into 12 year old boys... Transformers was great and I enjoyed it other than being a bit confused since most of the deceptacons were a bit similar looking. Simpson’s was funny and great as one would expect. Harry Potter is so f'n repetitive and over done I can't stand it, hey lets spend 10 minutes of the movie arriving at school and looking amazed at everything. That’s 10 more minutes you could have spent having the Order of the Phoenix in the movie dammit. It was my least fav book, so not surprising that it was my least fav movie. The ability of people to not act well in the movies is mind numbing. Especially after seeing Daniel Radcliff in "Extras" the Mike Gervasi show. He was great. Gary Oldman is a great actor in this he just sucked. He would have made a better Voldemort; I mean he already was an excellent Dracula. Voldemort continues to look unimpressive and has no screen presence. Though the Dumbledor/Voldemort battle was a bit Star Wars inspired. And no I haven't even bought the final book, but I will when I finish the current book I am reading.
