Ticking Away
She died today at 1400, in NY state. I got the news at 1405 at work.
at least things won't be so bad with the family, but the had an incomplete will, and her property will likely be split and sold, like I've seen a million times before.
I remember the last time I saw her. I brought her a dough-nut.
At least C got to meet his great grandmother. K's family has a short life-expectancy on her father's side. Ron had lost his favorite dog too.
So much pain and loss, but I think I have a hard time really when it's a life cut short. I wasn't devastated when my paternal grandmother Janie died, I have been prepared for Dot's time soon.
It still hurts, but it's far easier to accept.
