Madeleine
So Madeleine is finally over her upper respiratory infection and back to her normal happy laughing self. It has been exhausting. I hate it when little ones get sick cause they can't tell you what's wrong. So far I got a savings account for her, college fund going and more importantly I been working with her sounding out words and showing them to her with written word and picture of what it is. I can't wait she's going to be so far ahead with her reading. And it's fun she loves to read with me =) By far she has been the best thing to happen to me.
On another note my cousin just lost her children again due to a relaspe with drug abuse. It seems no matter what she says she will always be what she is. I feel for her children and even more so her 13 yr old son. He has grown so angry with the world and the people who love him he pushes away. Maybe there is not enough consistency in his life cause when he lashes out or makes a mistake his family is quick to throw him in a home for boys. It's just sad. He needs someone whom loves him to be there no matter what and help him deal with his feelings/emotions. I just want to hug him.
Nate's grandfather had passed away just before x-mas. We are heading up in May to go to his memorial service. He's holding up fairly well all things considering.
