I didn't assume you, in person, thought Cuddy was selfishly-motivated, it's just that there has been a lot of Cuddy hate and Sam hate (understandably) and I don't want people to think that when Sam and Cuddy disagree or have problems with House and Wilson in this fic that it is solely to demonize them . . . in fact, I tried hard to make their reactions and feelings believable based on what I've seen in canon. I accept the fact though that some readers will probably automatically go "Oh, what a bitch!" any time Sam or Cuddy is unhappy or jealous/possessive, but from what I've read of your reviews so far, I don't think you will be one of them.
Wilson being blind is interesting because sometimes I believe he purposely ignores it; purposely blinds himself. Like a kid covering his ears when he's hearing something he doesn't want to. He knows what is going on, but pretends that he doesn't.
But once again, you've caught onto my themes quite well. You kinda remind me of a friend I have. THANK YOU.

And Wilson resenting Cuddy is apparent in that because not only does he know House needs him too (maybe on a subconscious level) but I think he's also jealous, not that he'd admit that at this point.
Wilson's marraiges (from what we know so far in canon) slide into a cold, almsot emotionless pit of . . . nothing. He spends more time away from them and with House and stop caring that it's ruining their marriage. It's a pattern that's repeated in this fic, and everyoen sees it (House probably most of all) but he jsut . . . allows it to happen in hopes that MAYBE it will turn out right; turn into what he thinks he needs. Turn into that picturesque life that society (and Wilson) says we should want.
House and Wilson are not so dissimilar in that they don't need the norm. In fact, it disagrees with them.

I really can't say anything else without reiterating everything you've already said. But I have updated the next chapter.
Once again, thanks.
