Long time.........
Well....long time no post. Of course I would pick now when I have spent the entire evening at the local gay bar lol. Oh well better late than never I always say.
Things have been a bit hectic here since I moved back. Dad had his back surgery moved forward so he had that done on the 9th of this month. Has been a struggle to say the least. Due to his diabetes and just his age, 76, things have been a bit bumpier than if he was 20. He is now in a rehab facility in south phoenix where he will stay for at least a week while they try to build his muscles back up. I have seen marked improvement in his walking since the surgery so that is a huge plus.
So far so good...
Other than that it has been very slow here. Tongiht Michelle, Al, Todd and I went down to the local gay bar Marlys' for a few cocktails. Met up with my cousin Rob and his roommate Wade there and had a blast. Has been a long time since I actually had a REAL drinking night out. Was a lot of fun. Could have been better but it was fun none the less.
