(no subject)
What I did this weekend, as if you’re all waiting on baited breath to know right?
:: Started our taxes - much more complex now that I technically have a business.
:: Washed the car and completely cleaned out the inside.
:: Cleaned the whole house.
:: Washed, dried, fluffed and perfumed the dog.
:: Raked the entire front yard - not that it’s big or anything, but still.
:: Swept the driveway and front walk.
:: Took Sky to the library and then to Maudes for treats and games.
:: Did my Yoga - I can do “thread the needle extended leg” no sweat now!
:: Colored my hair, FINALLY so now it’s nice and red again.
:: Did the grocery shopping and the Walmart run.
:: Made vast amounts of red beans and rice.
:: Looked after Sky and the friend she had over yesterday.
:: Called my mom, she was depressed and needed to talk it out.
:: Watched the Oscars last night.
On Friday, Mario and Sky went with me to the club and while I worked out they played tennis. When I was done I decided I’d give it a try and so Mario showed me what to do and how to hold the racket. All he really did was stand on the other side and throw balls at me so I could practice hitting them and ya know, I did pretty good! I even aimed and hit it where I wanted it to go. Mario has agreed to be my “coach” for lack of a better word and teach me how to play. We were even looking at rackets online last night.
More of my old clothes fit me now. When I was working in the yeard I happened to notice my reflection in the glass door and did a double take! I'm so used to seeing myself there and not being all that happy with myself and now I can't even believe it's me! Even my turtle neck shirts are no longer gripping my neck, they're nice and lose the way they should be. There are even clothes that I can't wear anymore because they're so loose on me that I look almost homeless, how 'bout that!!??
The big boss is back from his ski trip today - I hope he leaves me alone or if he doesn’t I hope he’s nice.
