Christmas Eve hadn’t been as fun for Kurt ever since his mother had died. But this year, the first year at the Hudmel household, Kurt was determined that this would be a Christmas to remember.
His Christmas to remember didn’t include cooking.
But Carole was busy with decorating the house, and he knew his father wouldn’t be able to cook anything, so he had volunteered Finn and him to make the pie for dinner tonight.
“How do you even MAKE pumpkin pie?” Finn had asked him as they came into the kitchen.
“It can’t be that hard.” Kurt said, although truthfully he didn’t know. “Come on, we can learn choreography in 15 minutes flat, we can make a pie.”
“What does dancing have to do with pie?” Finn asked him. Kurt didn’t answer, just took ingredients out of the cupboard. Carole had given him a recipe, and how hard could it be to follow instructions?
After half an hour, both him and Finn were covered in flour, and several eggs had been smashed on the floor.
Clearly, Kurt couldn’t be trusted with cooking, either.
