In the home stretch!
More words = happy Katherine. At 36k and change right now, and I'm happy I'm so close to the end :) My plot is getting worse and worse though... but that's what November's for.
I got told my English mark today. I was like DDDDDDDDDDD: It's 89.2 right now, which is like horrible because ENGLISH IS MY BEST SUBJECT ._. (I was stressing about my Social Studies mark a few days ago, but that's fixed, there was an error, my mark is actually in the 90s therefore good). I really need to redo the assignment I was given back today, I only got like a 53/69, which is obviously really horrible. But it's not entirely my fault: the teacher didn't explain at all what she expected of us. A bunch of my classmates and I actually went to our English teacher from last year and asked her to explain how to do the assignment to our teacher's standard.
I also injured myself during a Science lab today, because I was stupid and didn't check if the beaker I was cleaning was broken or not before sticking my hand in. I now have a very deep, very uncomfortable gash on my right thumb. If it had been a bit longer I think I would have needed stitches, it's still bleeding right now and I cut it like 9 hours ago (it only bleeds a bit though, and only when I move it (as I do when I type)). At least it wasn't on my left hand, seeing as that would make me unable to play bass and that would make me really sad. I don't have to play clarinet until Monday though, and I don't think the cut will interfere with it, so I should be set for it to heal. Which I have a feeling will take a long time cause it's a nasty cut. That'll teach me to ever clean up a lab...
