As some of you may have noticed, I haven't properly posted in a very long time.
To be truthful, I have posted... quite a bit. My posts have been private, because my life for a while has been hectic, and stressful, and I hate bitching to people about my problems. Most people don't care that I'm going insane, so I don't inform them.
Summing up the past month or so of posts:
Jessi sucks. I'm moving out before she gives me an ulcer.
I'm moving back in with my parents, I don't love the idea, but it'll save me a lot of money, and give me free interwebs.
My hours got cut at work. I threatened to quit, then got more hours (33ish a week!)
my body is falling apart. I've had random infections and pains pretty constantly for a while now.
I didn't sleep for 56hours.
Lacy came to town and helped temporarily relieve my insanity.
I almost overslept today. I haven't been late to work in over a month, and have been getting up pretty much in plenty of time to get dressed, brush my teeth, and listen to some music before work, but not today. I passed out last night around 12:15 with all of my clothes on (like real people clothes, not even pjs), and the lights and tv on. I awoke this morning after a horrific nightmare (I can't recall it now, but I do remember it freaked the piss outta me) with my typical post-nightmare mood of "assballs! what's going wrong now!" I pick up my cell phone and see that it is 11:48. I have to be at work at noon. It takes anywhere from 4-10 minutes to drive to work from my parents house depending on traffic, weather and stop lights. Cut to me flying up the stairs from my room to the entry way of the house at 11:52 with shirt half-on, zipping up my skirt, carrying my coat, apron, shoes and bag under one arm. I brushed my teeth in the car, and ran into at 12:01. Everyone looked at me like I was a madwoman. Work kind of sucked, like always, but that's Starbucks for you.
Speaking of work, most of you don't know, but next Wednesday I have a meeting with Amanda (my manager) to discuss my PDP (partner development plan) and schedule my training for shift manger. What does this really mean? In about a month or so, I'll get almost a dollar raise to do the same things I always do, except now I'll never be on drive thru, and I get to have keys to the safe, and the store. Oh, and I get to boss people around. Rock.
I've also decided that in protest of this late-blooming winter, I'm going to wear a skirt everyday until my legs freeze off. I don't know why, it just sounded like a good idea. go with it.
Also, my sunglasses broke today. I just bought them. This makes me sad.
well, i guess that's my life in a nut shell. all I do is work, knit, watch tv, and occasionally talk to people. you could talk to me too. I really only ever talk to Stephen and Lacy. Not that it's a bad thing... I just know I have more friends than that. I think.
