Sam Winchester
Sam hadn't intended to track Jo down when he headed into town that evening. Stalking wasn't really his thing, and considering how often they came across each other, he didn't really need to keep tabs on her. One of these days, he would have to seriously consider turning her or just killing her, but for now, toying with her was far more fun than anything else.

He double-checked the knots around her wrists to make sure she was secure before she woke up. The old Sam would have worried about how often Jo might be getting knocked out, but now, he just tried to take advantage of the situation by running his hands up along her arms.

Jo Harvelle
By now, Jo was far too used to waking up with a concussion and rope around her wrists. She was really starting to wonder if there was something wrong with Sam beyond being a blood-sucker.

Cold hands on her arms meant that it was time to bring up her knee as sharply as her current situation allowed.

Sam Winchester
The feeling of Jo's knee was unpleasant, but Sam managed to move before she did too much damage to anything he might need later. "Gosh, Jo. With a greeting like that, you're going to make me think you're not happy to see me."

Jo Harvelle
"I can't imagine why, Sam," Jo said, her voice thick with sarcasm. "I mean, there's nothing I love more than being tied to a post. Especially by you."

Well, if it had involved asking and a lack of vampirism on his part, and not being hit on the head, she might have enjoyed it a bit, but she wasn't going to tell him that.

Sam Winchester
"I wouldn't have to go through all this trouble if you were good and behaved yourself around me," Sam said. "I know you want to get your hands on me, but when you try to hurt me, it just doesn't feel very good."

Jo Harvelle
"Aww, c'mon, I hear it doesn't hurt that much," Jo replied. "Just one little prick and then poof all gone."

Sam Winchester
"Or just one little nibble, and you're opened up to a whole new world," Sam said. "But you won't let me do that either."

Jo Harvelle
"What can I say, I like being able to tan," Jo said. "And how would you be able to tell me and Manning apart then?"

Sam Winchester
"I'll just have to make sure you have a...distinguishing feature so I'll always know it's you," Sam said, reaching to stroke his fingers over her cheek.

Jo Harvelle
Once that would have elicited a shudder, but now it just got an eye-roll. "And since fangs won't make me more forgiving, then I'll stake you in your sleep and we'll all lose."

Sam Winchester
"You know, sometimes I have to wonder if you'd last a day on our side," Sam said. "I don't even know how you've made it this long. Do you look forward to the days when the new people arrive, when they get our attention instead of the lot of you?"

Jo Harvelle
"Probably wouldn't," Jo replied, nodding. "Knowing what the vampires are like back home, I just couldn't unlive with myself if I was one of you losers."

"Have to admit I do," she said. "The looks of surprise when one of the patrols manages to firebomb you guys from behind because you're all distracted, they're classic."

Sam Winchester
"And yet, we're still winning," Sam said, although he sounded a little angry as he thought about those who'd been taken out in the past. "You haven't gotten rid of us yet, and you never will."

Jo Harvelle
"Doesn't mean we'll stop trying," Jo said. "Not all of us are dumb enough to get bit by the first vamp that comes along."

Sam Winchester
Sam grinned as he slipped around behind Jo. "What about the one who you keep coming back to?" he asked, leaning in to try to simply lick at her neck.

Jo Harvelle
Stupid post restricting her ability to jerk away.

"I don't really think it counts as 'coming back' when you hit me over the head and drag me here," she managed.

Sam Winchester
"If you really didn't want to be here, if you really didn't like being around me, you'd be fighting me more," Sam said, taking another, slower lick. She always smelled so good, and he had to wonder sometimes if he would have felt that way before he'd been turned.

Jo Harvelle
"Only reason I'm not," Jo got out, shuddering. "Is that you're at the wrong angle for a head-butt."

Sam Winchester
"Lucky for me, you're not at the wrong angle for this," Sam said, reaching over to grab her by the hair. "I'm not all that hungry right now, but I think I'll save you for Dean and I to snack on later."

Jo Harvelle
Jo gasped, because ow.

"Brothers do share everything, I guess."

Sam Winchester
"You'll find out exactly how much soon enough," Sam said. Not wanting to snark at her anymore for the moment, he tried to bring her head back against the post to knock her out again. A quiet Jo was so much better to be around.

Jo Harvelle
If Jo suffered permanent brain damage as the result of all these concussions she was suing Sam's vampire ass for all it was worth.

After she regained consciousness.
