So my apartment just had our first official party. The kind with lots of alcohol, bowls of potato chips, and coming home to find there are a bunch of strange people filling up your living room. It was all cool though. The one housemate that was hosting it (oddly enough, the one who owns all the cutesy things was) just hostessed, and the rest of us holed ourselves up in Amanda's and my room watching Korean dramas and eating Ben and Jerry's. ;-) We eventually came out, though, since we did happen to know some of the people---at our own party, which we very well should, after all.
But honestly, I really like our apartment. Ali (the one who owns half of Sanrio & Disney) actually keeps most of her cutesy things to her room, so it's not TOO overwhelming. On top of that, we ALL cook, so the house is constantly full of good smells and homecooking. And we eat together a lot, so it's like we're a little family, lots of happy feelings. :-) Also, we went to a Korean store, a Chinese store, and Harris Teeter (think Safeway) last night and bought probably close to $300 worth of food. Open the freezer/fridge at your own peril. ;-) Funny how one's level of happiness is directly proportional to how much food there is in the house.
