P-Con Decompression Blog

Hmm, well went to P-Con just this last weekend. The hotel was floor to floor Pagans, which was great for the Con, but not for me. Each year that I have gone the collective that I like to hang out with is getting smaller and smaller each year and grows more how you would say click-ish. The longer I live in the burbs the less and less I have in common with my city friends and have less and less desire to get involved with the daily drama of city living. Don't get me wrong it was great to see the select few out of towner friends of mine, you know who you are, but a large part of the time of the Con I spent with people that I see all the time at home.
Well, I can spend time with these same people in the comfort of my own home and it would not cost me as much as P-Con. We have confirmed that we will not be attending P-con next year. It is just getting too costly to be able to spend what just 15 minute blocks of time with friends that I haven't seen all year. The benefit does not out weight the cost any more. For all those peoples that I do normally only get to see at P-Con, you have an open invite to my home any time, just call first.

Psshh, summer is just around the corner and for those who want to escape the craziness of their everyday life and spend a couple days relaxing by the pool enjoying Fruity drinks and yummy Barbeque give us a call.
