I had another doctor's appointment on the 7th, and when I went and told her everything that had been going on with my back, she decided she wanted to hospitalize me. re: the back pain, i'm glad the new meds are working, cos EW is it ever horrible when there's nothing that can stop the pain....one of my bestfriends ever is in chronic pain too (endo, fibromialgia, crohn's, colitis, to name a few....all at once!!), and it's always so awful watching and knowing that i can't do shit all about it. :(

so. all that to say: let's hope the meds keep working!! LA sounds awesome, i'm really jealous yer going....so have fun for me! :D

re: the wedding, man. f's parents' place sounds WICKED. i say go there, and whoever can't make it to quebec city, just has an alternative party at your parents' place after you and f are back from honeymoon. remember that this is YOUR DAY, not everyone else's. think of yourself FIRST. <333 (oh, and let me know when the wedding is so i can send some gifties!)

10 months to plan a wedding actually isnt that long. If you do decide to do it at your fathers or the in-laws then that will save you not only money but alot of time and ease the organization of the event as a whole. Quebec is not that far away and its quite affordable to travel between mtl and quebec, anyone who cares about you will be willing to travel the relatively short distance. Our wedding was in Kingston the same distance in the opposite direction in a completely english speaking community and all but 2 people from Christians side did not attend and frankly it wasnt because of the distance.
Have your wedding where YOU want it. Its YOUR day ( by your I mean both of you of course! ) If you like your in-laws place then I think you should do it there. I'm away for the next few days but do you want to meet up for coffee or something one day soon? I could give you a hand making a to-do list and such, trust me its more than you think! =) oh but its so exciting at the same time!
