Improved but not new.
Yello, people. It looks like I'm back in action sooner than I thought I'd be. The computer was returned to me this past weekend - the same ol' machine with a spiffy new hard drive. Since then, I've watched the two episodes of Supernatural that I missed (Which, by the way, were so good that there are no words and I cannot wait for tomorrow.) as well as most of season one of Stargate Atlantis, which I've recently fallen in love with. (Just for the record, Rodney McKay owns me.)
The new job is going well. I still have a week of training left and then I go into training bay for another week. After that I hit the floor for about a month before heading back to the classroom to be crosstrained in various departments. I was pretty much hired as a filler, so who knows which permanent position I'll end up in. For all I know, I'll be bouncing from one workstation to the next for months. Atleast I'll never get bored.
Other than that, I haven't got much to say. My birthday was yesterday, but I didn't do anything special 'cause it was a Wednesday, which totally sucked. I'm having this little thing tomorrow with the family and this thing with friends on Saturday, so that should be fun. I can't believe I've hit the big 2-2. Holy mother of God, I'm getting old.
Also? I finally saw both Brokeback Mountain and Serenity, like a million years later than everybody else in this galaxy. I loved them both, and I now own Brokeback Mountain and will probably pick up Serenity sometime this weekend.
