As of Aug 4th last year, I had 58 books. I have caught up. 25 books in 2 months is just AWESOME and AMAZING! I'm so proud of myself. Looks like I have a very real possibility of beating last year's list of 80. My main goal is 100. We'll see how that goes with my fall quarter classes.
Lots of L.J. Smith. My friend Julia keeps lending them to me and I can't seem to finish them fast enough. Lost of vampire stuff (surprise surprise), a few things for school, more supernatural related stuff. I enjoy it, if you couldn't already tell.
Coming up: Possibly a Buffy book or two, the next Rachel Morgan book, more L.J. Smith, maybe I'll eventually finish Portrait of a Lady (MAYBE!). We'll see.
Summer school is easy. Why can't all classes be like summer classes? Plus, despite having class 4 days a week, I have lots of time to read! It helps that I get off work at 7:30 and don't have class 'til 10:25. About 2 and a half hours of reading time right there! It's awesome!
Okay, so this might sound a little weird, but I'm kind of feeling trapped in my own house. It's starting to feel like it's not even my home anymore. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with either of my roommates, but it just seems as if since he moved in it's more their house and I'm a glorified guest or something. I don't know. I feel myself drifting farther and farther away from Brandie and I don't know how to make it stop. It's nobody's fault, it's just happening, but it's leaving me feeling kind of blah. And almost like I don't have a best friend anymore. I don't really have that one person that I constantly talk to and confide in anymore. Maybe that's what it is. I'm not really sure, I just hope I get past whatever this feeling is and fast. Maybe it's just me being over-worked between school and work. While work hasn't necessarily been too overly stressful, I think its combination with school is just making everything seem that much more... something. I'd say I need to get out more, but I've actually done pretty decent recently on the weekends with getting out. I've gone out a lot more than I thought I would, at least. Although I did enjoy staying in all last weekend and doing nothing but reading.
Okay, on that note, I'm taking my migrained self and heading to bed.
