So technically only reading 1 book, but I already know I'm gonna start Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson) by Patricia Briggs and once that's done go on to Kim Harrison's second Rachel Morgan book. After Skeleton Crew (which is my work book) I'm not entirely sure what I'll read. Maybe a Buffy book or the Supernatural novel I still haven't read. We'll see, though.
My reading count is back up this month! 9 for the month, 11 if you count the 2 finished these past two days! It feels gooood to read like this again.
I've also been continuing my Buffy watching. Finished up the last disc and a half of S6 and got through the first disc of S7 in one night. Also been watching Stargate SG-1. Started with the original movie then went straight into S1. Got a couple discs watched. I forgot how much I loved the early seasons of SG-1. Especially S1 when they explore the whole Jack/Sam relationship angle stuff. Been watching lots of Six Feet Under as well. Finished S1 really fast and am about halfway through S2. I didn't realize how many episodes I really missed until I got the DVDs. I so thought I had seen more than I had. Oh well. Makes me enjoy them just that much more. :D
My Penguins aren't doing so well. Makes me sad. I really hope they can hang in there and beat Detroit tonight. Or if nothing else, at least score a goal in Detroit. This series isn't turning out like I thought it would. I expected it to be a lot closer than it actually is. What the hell is up with Malkin? He isn't playing anywhere near his full ability. Wake up dude and kick some Detroit ass! I won't disown you or anything but I definitely will be pissy with you for a bit. Unless you look all sad-like, then I wouldn't be able to stay upset with you, I'd just be upset along with you. :(
Additional Note: I tried posting this at 2pm today, right as my power went out and along with it my internet connection. Got it back at 8pm, woke up normal time at 8:30. It's the end of the first period of the hockey game and Pittsburgh is winning 2-0. This makes me happy
